Led here by all the reviews on TA and Open Table. We felt we were well advised. Small menu, but additional seasonal choices offered off the menu. We both started with the heirloom tomato salad, which was fresh and flavorable. My friend had the halibut and I had the tenderloin. Both also delicious. Madeline cake and homemade strawberry cake to finish. All good. The staff was pleasant and friendly. This is not a place where they rush you, so you do not have someone often in your face, so you may end up pouring your own wine (saw this in another review), but once you realize that all the other tables have been there a while and are just hanging' back and enjoying the non-rushed attitude, you can just go with the flo. I still had some wine left during dessert and my friend was finished, so one of the servers came over and asked her if she would like another glass since they noticed she didn't have anything to drink. These days servers are rushing you out the door to turn over a table. Not at Bishop's. we would definitely return.
