Great location near Stanley Park, but easy walking distance to Coal Harbour, English Bay and Downtown area. Lots of restaurants nearby. Whole Foods and Safeway within 100 yes . Complimentary WIFI and car parking. Apartment spotlessly clean and provided all the facilities including washer drier; great for us as we had two weeks worth of clothes to wash !
Reception staff very keen to help.

Room Tip: Some rooms have three steps between lift and room . On Main Street but no noise distraction .

We rented suite 209 facing the back of the building. Originally we were put in suite 206 facing Robson Street, but the A/C is only situated in the living room and so the bedroom was like an oven, since the suite faced West and Vancouver was dealing with high temps that week. So we asked to be moved, and the staff (Coco) happily managed our request. We were on the 2nd floor because we had our dog with us. The unit was a nice sized one bedroom with insuite laundry. The kitchen had all major appliances and some cookware. Parking is secure and included. The common areas were a bit shabby, especially going into the parking off the elevators, and the hallways were at times hot, so I'm not sure if the A/C was always running. The location is stellar! You are two blocks away from Stanley Park. There is a liquor store, grocery, McDonald's, Starbucks, and numerous restaurants within a block of the doors of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Coco and Rose. We found the hotel was fairly quiet, except every night around 3 or 4 am there we were woken up with lots of banging around for about 30 minutes? This was a consistent thing, so I'm not sure what was going on. Anyway, I would have given this a 5 except for the dated decor, untidy common areas and no A/C in the bedrooms.

Room Tip: Ask to stay facing the back for less street noise and cooler conditions.

Thank you for leaving a kind and candid review of your recent visit with us. I am pleased to read that you are satisfied with our hospitality and accommodation. Rooms facing the Robson Street side tend to be warmer as the location of the sun. Many of our guests left the hotel early morning to enjoy the sunshine and return late evening, therefore, the warmer temperature in the afternoon doesn't bother them. Updating the hotel décor is definitely on the to do list. A big thank you from the Robson Suites Team!

We stayed here when we first arrived. This is a great location near Stanley Park. Helpful staff. It is reasonably priced for Vancouver. We had a one bedroom suite, with kitchen and washer dryer.
Really if your budget can stretch to it go for a two bedroom. Even though we were out most of the time, space is really important when you have children and I hated having to pull out the sofa bed each night.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your recent experience with us. I am delighted to hear that you had a positive experience staying with us. I apologize that we do not have two bedroom suites. My best suggestion to you will be to book two suites close together. A big thank you from the Robson Suites Team!

Last month we spent 2 night at the Robson suites. This place is not classified as hotel but you get all the facilities of an hotel (less breakfast) plus the facilities of a private appartement like kitchen and wash machine and dryer which was very convenient after a week spent driving around BC. There is no 24 hrs receptionist but the persons who were at the desk during the day were very helpful. Free parking is available which is very rare in Vancouver. Also we had a free shuttle to Canada place on departure day. The location is very good (not at the top of Robson, but very close to many good restaurants. Safeway market is across the street so you can get there for your breakfast needs.
My only negative comment: fridge was bit noisy but for the rest: well recommended

Room Tip: Ask for one bedroom suite

We checked in at 4 pm and the room wasn't ready. Front desk gave us parking garage keys and asked us to come back in about half hour. So we went for a drive around Stanley Park and the room was ready when we returned. The parking garage has 2 gates to get through to parking for suites; it was a bit intimidating the first try, but we got used to it. One of the gates is slow to respond and we sat for awhile trying to get it to open. Entrance is off a lane where a lot of street people hang, which may be why all the security in the underground.

We had a 1 bedroom with a well stocked kitchen, living room, small bathroom and a small balcony off the living room. The furniture is pretty dated and felt like we were in a motel. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Bedroom was very small - not even enough room for a dresser (which was in the living room). There was a closet in the bedroom and another one in the hallway. The mattress on the bed was not very comfortable, flimsy and thin.

We were on the 2nd floor overtop of a 24-hour McDonalds. Couldn't leave the windows or patio door open at night due to all the activity on the street and the security issue, so it was warm and stuffy during the night. We were travelling with our small dog which may be why we were on the 2nd floor.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The desk is not staffed all evening. It closes and gated up around 9 I think. It was a big strange coming into the lobby after that with it all closed up.

The location is terrific for getting around to see the sights of Vancouver. Tons of things to do, shop and dine within very easy walking distance. They have a shuttle, although we didn't use it.

Internet worked well throughout our four day stay.

We prefer Time Square Suites on Denman and would have stayed there except they don't take dogs in the summer time when they are very busy.

Overall, its very basic, but clean, well stocked and it's a great location. I

Room Tip: Ask for room higher up than 2nd floor. We could hear people just having a normal conversation in th...

Thank you for choosing the Robson Suites Hotel as your accommodation in Vancouver, Canada. I apologize for the suite was not ready upon your arrival. I've brought this matter to my head housekeeper for proper adjustment in the future. Due to the underground parking sharing by the hotel and the retail stores, the hotel parking is in the bottom level, so hotel guests would need to pass through two gates and using the hotel keys in order to access the hotel area. I've noticing there are more homeless people everywhere in Downtown Vancouver. Our business hours are 7am-11pm. We do have a live in Manager for any emergency matters throughout the night. In addition, the 2nd floor rooms are designated for pet rooms. We look forward to greeting you in the near future. A big thank you from the Robson Suites Team.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The location is quite good, with a lot of restaurants around. The apartment (we had a 1-bedroom) was very basic, with a fairly small bed with a bouncy mattress. Overall, it felt a bit like staying at a motel. Service was friendly, underground parking and WiFi were free.

For about the same amount, one can stay in a 4-star hotel in the area. Unless you need a kitchen or a washer, the hotel may be the better option.

With all the basic conveniences needed when away from home, Robson suite is an great home away from home. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which we found comfortable. There is a kitchen equipped with a large fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, oven & cook top. There were basic pots, pans, dishes, bowls, cups & cutlery to utilize if you were too cook basic meals. Like others have said the AC unit is noisy, but we left it on during the day to keep the room cool & turned it off at nite. The rooms were serviced everyday. There is also a washer, dryer, iron & ironing board. Robson Suites is situated in the West End, just off Robson St. There is a safeway across the street & if you prefer organic foods Wholefoods is also a short walk away. if you don't feel like cooking, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from on Robson St & Denman St. Stanley Park is a short walk away (5-10mins) and main shopping district of Robson St is 15 minute walk. Staff are friendly & helpful. We felt the building was safe & the free parking garage is also secure not to mention very convenient if you have hired a car. Overall I would stay again at Robson Suites.
