This is an incredible venue. We have had the pleasure of seeing many shows here. I write this review simple to let people know that for most shows that I have been to here you need to reserve a table ahead of time if you would like a seat. It is not first come for tables and chairs. If you do not reserve you will not have a place to sit. Not sure how exactly the reservations work as we have never reserved a table since we are standers. Just wanted people to know.

Just saw Clutch and Orange Goblin, and once again another amazing show. You can even order dinner while watching a concert. Servers are great; drinks are reasonably priced (except for the tequila).
This place is world famous and for good reason. I’ve never been disappointed watching a concert here.

Still maintains much of its 20's era architecture/charm, several bars to accommodate, delightfully sprung dance floor. Not a fan of the 2 huge advertising screens though.

Pick up the Georgia Straight free newspaper and check out the live music listing for The Commodore Ballroom. If you favorite act is playing, take the time to enjoy this smaller venue and get up and personal with the band. I have seen so many acts it is hard to remember them all, but recently I saw the Led Zeppelin show that featured John Bonham's son Jason behind the drums. The closest to seeing Zeppelin. The sound and show was fantastic. It does not matter what group you see, as all "the greats", The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Brian Adams, Sting, etc have played here. It will be a night to remember.

The Commodore Ballroom is by far Vancouver's best nightclub to take in a concert venue!

The charming Art Deco style building originated in the 1920's and the hardwood dance floor, actually has springs built under it. Great place to dance the night away!

The Commodore is a premiere destination for live music and offers vintage charm as it's backdrop. I highly recommend this spot to take in any music venue while visiting Vancouver.
