If you enter from Smyth St, you'd think you were in a French bistro. When you enter from Homer St you'd get that New York feeling. Wonderful atmosphere during this ladies birthday lunch. The beet salad was great, maybe too much kale. The daily rotisserie choices are easily made from the french style menu. The humus appetizer was very good, accompanied by dried vegetable crisps and crispy chicken skin, WOW! The six of us were very satisfied with the food and decided to return for a dinner in the near future. There are two separate areas that could accommodate tables of 10 - 14 for office dinner parties. Loved the quirky decor and layout. Service was excellent.

This place is fairly new and decorated as something out of the French countryside. Their specialty is a rotisserie chicken, which can easily feed four. The side dishes are quite delicious - cauliflower with hazlenuts, brussel sprouts, etc. They also offer a daily rotisserie featuring a different kind of meat.

Service is exceptional and the wine list a great mix of local and French.

Try the maple pork belly for an appetizer - yum! And make sure to check out the "Cock" Room - Roosters everywhere!

We had a great meal before the hockey game on Friday Jan 10, 2014. As a family of four we ordered the maple pork belly appie, then rotisserie chicken special with sides of cauliflower and brussel sprouts which we shared. the chicken was excellent - beautifully cooked and served. We had a great window seat and the service was excellent. They have done a great job of renovating a lovely old Vancouver building into a great space!!

We had an excellent quick meal before a hockey game. We were seated at about 5:50 and were fed and out the door by 6:40, which left us a good 20 minutes to get to the game. The rotisserie chicken was very good and at $32 for a whole chicken incredible value if shared by four people. The crisp maple pork belly appetizer was amazing. The shrimp balls weren't bad either. I would definitely eat there again.

There used to be a greasy spoon diner on this corner years ago.... This is not the same thing!! The Homer Street Grill and Bar is not the same thing! I have only been there for brunch but can't wait to go for dinner. Brunch was excellent all around. The restaurant is great and was nicely and tastefully decorated ahead of Christmas. Service was excellent too. I had eggs benedict which was good, but I'd make a point of asking for softer eggs and a hot plate as this dish can cool really fast. I also think it should be served with toast as I finished a bit hungry. Don't worry though--- it's a great place for brunch.
