“Must Try”

Located along the bicycle and walking track on the waterfront across Granville island near the Hornby st. Aquabus dock the restaurant has great views with limited patio seating. Visited them for dinner when they were competing in a food fest in Vancouver. From the time we were seated to the time we left we were treated to top class in service and food. The waiter was really attentive and explained to us the nuances of each dish and gave info about their executive chef Majdoubi. His suggestion to my husband on the dish of the day (lamb shoulder) worked well. Me being vegetarian had a couple of side tapas, mushrooms and honey and cinnamon carrots. The cocktail selection was limited but was good. It is a bit pricey for Tapas but we did not mind in the end as it was worth the experience. Skipped the desert as we were too full but believe the blue berry cheese cake is really good. Don't know if it is featured on the regular menu though. A must try at least once.

Went on a Groupon $40 worth for $20. Mid-Sept. Nice view outside but it was chilly!!! short list of menu items. Servings were disappointing and service wasn't to par for the value.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience at the restaurant. Since mid-September, we've re-done our menu and increased the portion sizes considerably. Hope to see you back to see the improvements.

“Water front delight”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

The Ten Ten Tapas is one of a handful of down town Restaurants participating in the 'Vancouver Chefs Dishes Festival". There is a signature dish in each of the restaurants and you could vote online for the top slot.
This place is right on the water front facing the Granville Island between the Burrard and Granville bridges. The atmosphere is enjoyable both inside and outside the restaurant.
I tried the 25 spice Lamb Shoulder and I must say the presentation was a beauty. Chef Nourdine blends figs, Apricots, Prunes and other exotic ingredients with the Lamb and it was a first for me. The Mediterranean Veggies were subtle but succulent and crunchy.
Service was quick efficient and the waiter knew his food. Nice place, check it out.

“Excellent”

Went on a Groupon $40 worth for $20. Lunch on a Tuesday mid-August. On the Sea Wall - lots to see!!! Relatively short menu, some items unavailable - both probably a good sign showing that food is fresh prepared. Great views from patio, servings perfectly adequate - larger than I would expect for 'tapas', smaller than some 'mains'. Service - became cheerier as patio filled up, initial welcome a tad reserved. Food - good - spring rolls as a shared appetiser ($11), prawn tacos ($13.50) and spinach crepe ($13), Trio dessert ($10) were all very good indeed. Wine - a BC VQA Pinot Gris at $38 was excellent and about the expected price for a restaurant Downtown. ($18 in BC Liquor stores). All in all - recommended!
