The food was amazing. I had short ribs and the meal was huge and excellent. The crispy sprouts are well worth a try. Situated in the lovely area of Gastown. The maple brown sugar pie was to die for. Fantastic meal.

This place is amazing. The staff is great but the food is amazing. Went here twice during the trip to Vancouver. Braised short rib Mac and cheese was great, baked and great flavor. Also had the Halibut Cheeks, perfectly cooked. Also has happy hour discounted food until 6 on weekdays, nice way to try out a few items on the menu.

Lively but not too noisy. Great service, menu is local and varied to meet a variety of tastes. Atmosphere is excellent, in the heart of Gastown so you'll get the true Vancouver experience. Braised Ribs were excellent. Don't miss this one!

I am only able to review two mains on the menu; beef short ribs and the veal, both were very mediocre, neither filling the palate with full flavour and both too greasy. The waitress was very friendly and cheerful and there was no wait time. Probably won't recommend this restaurant.

We had a really great New Year's Day evening meal at The Flying Pig. We landed late into Vancouver and our hotel recommended here as a nice easy place to eat. We walked in and loved the atmosphere - it was bustling but not too noisy. A good mix of people and the place was really open and modern. We had a great server who helped us pick out some food including not ordering 2 starters as it would've been too much! We had the salmon selection which was delicious and both had the chicken main which was also great! For dessert we shared the cake which was massive but tasty. Along with some nice wine we really enjoyed ourselves - a pleasant surprise considering we didn't have any plans to visit and no expectations. Highly recommend the place and the area Gastown around it.
