Great atmosphere and people watching spot overlooking the harbor. We ate there for lunch and ended up going back for drinks. Food was good but didn't care much for the "signature" sangria.

I went here twice.

The first time just for drinks in the Yaletown one with friends. Sat outside (they have heaters and it was a nice evening anyway) on comfortable chairs and had a good server. They had good deals on for drinks. There was a nice atmosphere and it wasn't any trouble for them to rearrange our table to accommodate extra people that joined us. This visit alone would have got 4/5.

However 2 weeks later went to the one Kn Broadway for food with work colleagues at lunch time. It wasn't that busy and service was slow. They didn't bring cutlery with the meals. One person had to wait 5 mins for a spoon to be brought to them so they could eat their noodle soup dish. I had the duck lunch sandwich which was tasty. The fries were the best bit. I would go there again and just eat them. However all of us felt it was just OK. Nothing exciting and it would do. Also at $16-17 for a sandwich and many of the entrees $20-35 I expected more.

With the many options of great food and Vancouver, I would head somewhere else next time rather than this generic chain.

The server, when present, was friendly.

Went there for a birthday celebration (because I was told it was the "in" place to be)...

THE GOOD: The view is great; being able to walk around the area when the weather was great was an added bonus.

THE MEH: The food. Only the steak came out right; the others were absolutely disgusting. Chicken wings - were they on diet? More like bones with excessive lathering of Frank's hot sauce!
Ceveche - Really? maybe six thin strips of fish served in a fancy way...no flavour
Butternut Squash Ravioli - sugar makes everything taste good!

4 ppl and $200 bucks later before parking....

Had dinner at this wonderful restaurant by the waters in downtown Vancouver. A slight mix up in our reservation was smartly fixed by attentive and cheerful personnel. Considering the location of this upscale restaurant they call cafe, the menu was extensive. Great Service was complemented by the upbeat manager who offered a free salad to make up for reservation mix up. Now that is good PR gesture. Despite being very busy, we received prompt service. The high quality food served in a 'Classy' presentation.

I dined at the Cactus Club on Canada Place as part of group - the conference I had attended rented one of the private rooms. The ambience of the Cactus Club was great - lively and fun. Despite it being very busy the service was very prompt, I was never without drink. There are great views of Vancouver harbour and the Olympic cauldron while you dine. The seared albacore tuna appetizer was very tasty and the Sablefish main course was to die for. Will definitely return if I'm ever in Vancouver again.
