“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

We dinned at the Cactus Club Cafe on Monday, Sept 16, 13. We order calamari, braised beef short ribs, and butternut squashed. Ravioli. I wished they gas Kobe beef short ribs. The food was spot on and tasty. The service was excellent. The CCC is a must visit restaurant when you are visiting Vancouver BC. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all travelers

“Great food”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

The place is really nice. The food was excellent. The service was very good. Had a great time. They don't have a kids Menu but they can make you almost anything for them.

“Amazing food, great location!”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

We were in Vancouver, B.C. for six days and ate at the Cactus Club Cafe three times; twice for lunch and once for dinner. Their food is amazing, delicious, with many choices. We were told by our wait person that this is the biggest restaurant in Canada (seats 600) but you definitely don't get that feeling. Service was prompt and spot on. I had their chicken lettuce wraps for lunch and they were the best I have ever had...a nice Asian flair. Their signature dish is butternut squash with prawns. You can get them in a small appetizer version or a larger portion for dinner. Yummy, yummy, yummy. I highly recommend the chocolate mouse for dessert. It is almost like an after dinner drink ~ frothy on top, mouse filling with chunks of chocolate. It was to die for! This restaurant is reasonably priced for Vancouver and not lacking in service. We would go back in a heartbeat. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

“superb views”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

Had to wait a while to get a window table but it was really worth it. The huge electric window was open and afforded us views over the float planes and beyond with some of the lights on the Lionsgate Bridge showing - wonderful. We all had steaks of various kinds preceded by clamari and yam fries. It was all most enjoyable with good service and not too bad on price. Will certainly return.

“Nice restaurant by the water”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

We wanted a table with a view of the water, busy night, so we waited...and waited, took over an hour. Anyways we got free appetizers! The service was very professional.

The menu was short, I love that. It covered all the bases. The German beer was great value and very good.

Would highly recommend.

On the downside, there was a group of Crime Gang Unit police roaming about, looking for someone? It ruined the atmosphere.I have never been in a restaurant and that happened, and I lived in Belfast for a year! Yes, Vancouver has a lot of dodgy characters about (a lot more than most cities I have visited and I have visited a lot of cities), too bad as it is otherwise a great city.
