Great place to watch the sea planes land and take off while you enjoy a stroll along the harbor. Lots of walkers, bicyclers and folks walking dogs.

The walk around the Seawall, although quite long is well worth the effort with plenty to see. Then reward yourself with lunch at the Tea House.

A 10k round trip which is so worth the effort. Gorgeous views, huge seagulls, Canada geese and maybe spot an orca, a sea otter and her babies (I did) or harbour seals. You will also see the huge freighters with container loads coming into port. A do not miss venue.

We bicycle rode along the Seawall going a pretty good distance and also jogged along it in the morning. There are different lanes for cyclists/skaters than there are for pedestrians which is really nice so that you don't have to worry about being dodged by the faster moving folks. The biggest downside if you are riding a bike in Stanley Park is that you need to know that you are only able to ride in 1 direction (going northbound towards the tip and then looping around the park's seawall heading back south as you leave the park). If you decide you need to leave before circling around the park, you will have to walk your bike back or get off the seawall and drive along the streets within the park. Just something to think about for those with young children.
