“Would not like to do it on a bike - unless you can ride like Bradley Wiggins!”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

We walked the whole seawall yesterday, Victoria Day so a Public Holiday and everyone out. Would recommend that you walk it clockwise.Yes, bikes skateboards etc go anti-clockwise, but not all do so. The bike path runs along the walking path at about a foot higher and at points the two collide... We saw lots of bike rage, idiots riding so fast that they became angry at children and slower riders who made them slow down. Surely if you want to ride a bike or skate at high speed there are better choices. It is a fantastic way to view the harbour and people watch. Several food concessions on the route which are inexpensive. The route is flat and if you are an average walker very easy.

“Great walk, view and people watching. If you're fit!”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Great place to walk and take in the scenery. The walk though, is quite long! Be sure to plan accordingly because it won't be that easy to return to where you began an hour later! We walked a majority of the seawall and ended up on Granville Island. We decided to take the aquabus across to get back to our original location. The views are just incredible. Well worth the walk. Bring a snack and something to drink, you will need it!

“Exercise and people watching”

One of the most spectacular waterfront promenades. You can walk for 1 or 10 miles without leaving downtown core. Enjoying beautiful scenery and local crowds strolling by on a sunny day.
