“Exercise and people watching”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

One of the most spectacular waterfront promenades. You can walk for 1 or 10 miles without leaving downtown core. Enjoying beautiful scenery and local crowds strolling by on a sunny day.

“Delightful ...”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

It is delightful to walk along and enjoy the sites ... people watching is a great pastime here. The boats and ships in the harbor are a great sight to behold. The only trouble is it can get crowded with everyone enjoying the place on a sunny afternoon. People are riding bike, roller blading, jogging, walking, playing volleyball to name but a few of the activities taking place ...

“Definetly A MUST Vancouver Stroll or Bike Cruise.”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Wandering the seawall is magical. I even know a 102 yr old woman who contrived to have a man on roller blades glide her around it it her wheel chair while she whooped excitedly and waved to all she passed. I usually ride a bike around it many times after the cold season passes. Its vistas never fail to delight and there is something about time on the seawall that encapsulates the whole experience of being in Vancouver. The usual cautions apply. The wall is popular, and while most people are very conscious of sharing it and are very courteous. there can always be one or two who forget, and in a few places, where children and families congregate , and where bus tourists cross the road to get closer to the water require extreme caution. Most bus tourists are pedestrian, cyclist and automobile blind. Extending a seawall tour past English Bay and around to False creak to Granville Island , or from Grandville Island in the other direction Canada Place can fill a really comfortable day - sight seeing, dining, sunning, shopping and in the end falling in love with Vancouver. There is excellent access to the wall, and to the extended sea walks is occurs throughout their routes.
