We drive from the burbs at least once a month for a dinner trip to Tevere. It just never disappoints. The food and the pleasant, efficient service always makes the drive worthwhile. Always good and at reasonable prices, this remains our fav restaurant in the greater Vancouver area. To qualify, we lived in Roma for 6 years, ate in restaurants all over Italy, including Napoli, and any review that discounts the food at Tevere as disappointing is misguided.

Via Tevere serves neopolitan thin crust pizzas that are to die for. The flavours are incredible. Three of us shared the Vesuvio and the Prosciutto 3 Funghi. The Vesuvio was mildly spicy and the fungi on the Prosciutto pizza was very tasty. This place has spoiled me for any other pizza as it could not live up to this standard.

restaraunt opens at 5:00 but if you are not in line by 4:45 you will be in a line up. WELL WORTH THE WAIT for wonderful, thin crust pizza as good as any in Italy.

LOVE this place. They have the best pizza on this side of the Atlantic! Honestly, I drive over an hour to go!

Meatballs are also phenomenal, as well as the arugula salad and the desserts!

Pizzas are fresh, with authentic ingredients and are ready so quick! Make sure you go early though, as it does get very busy and they do not take reservations!

Brought family and friends for a birthday dinner last night.... great food, atmosphere, crowd.
Our only issue was this. We have been to VT probably a dozen times in the last year, had a party of 7, arrived to a restaurant with no one waiting and that was half empty with 2 of our 7 guests parking their car.... 5 minutes behind us. We were told we couldn't be seated until our entire party was present even though we told the hostess that our last 2 guests were parking their car. Her comment was followed up by advising us that we couldn't block the door.
VT does a lot of things very right but unless your running a McDonalds, put some brains with discretion at the door.
