A great location overlooking the marina near the Westin Hotel. The menu is limited, but a good cross section of options from seafoods to meats and vegan options as well. Plating is done as an art - very nicely done. We had the squid steak and chicken bastilla as starters. The presentation was beautifully done. The squid was served with a sauce that really complemented the flavour of the squid. The chicken bastilla was served with a chutney that was wonderful and brought the Morrocan flavours to the forefront. Sable fish and lamb were our next choices. They were very good. The fish had nice textures and served on a medley of mushrooms that was very flavourful. The lamb was served on a bed of couscous with dried apricot, fig and toasted almonds. A really good combination. The sauce on the couscous was a little salty for my taste, but worked well with the other ingredients. Desert was the Moroccan beignets - with a light dusting of icing sugar, it was a nice ending to a good dinner.
The beer and wine options were good - I tried the pale ale and was very happy that it worked with the exotic flavours of the meal.
If you are in the neighbourhood and want to try something outside of the regular Denman Street fare, it is worth it!
