The location of the hotel is very convenient (West End). In the evenings we took a walk to Stanley Park, which is within easy walking distance. Gastown and Canada Place are not far away and can be reached by foot. The room we had was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back.

We stayed here in June, initially in a one bedroom with den apartment and then moved to one of the larger two bedroom apartments when the rest of our family arrived. Both apartments were on the 4th floor and faced towards Stanley Park. Noise was not an issue - except when the large refuse bins were emptied - and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. and our daughter, who drew the short straw and ended up on the bed-settee said even it was comfortable. Both apartments were extremely well-equipped and we could not have asked for a more helpful staff . It is in an area known as "the West End" which is a largely residential area and very safe.
There are many varied restaurants and all of the ones we visited were prepared to to do meals for take-out and there is a liquor store almost opposite the apartments so it's easy to have a special meal in the apartment whenever you want.
We travelled by Sky Train from the airport and opted to walk from there to the apartments, which is a 25-30 minute walk, although we could easily have taken a local bus to West Georgia at Denman.
The move from one apartment to the other was quite painless for us - our suitcases and the fridge contents were transferred for us by the staff after we left the apartments for the day.
We wanted to visit Granville Island and buy some fresh oysters so one member of staff - Jackie - made sure we found a store which sold an oyster shucking knife so we could open them ourselves - by far the cheapest way to enjoy them.
If ever we return to Vancouver, this will be our first port of call, though I hope our British pound will fare better against the Canadian dollar when we do!

This boutique hotel was located in Vancouver's West End on Robson & Denman. There was a Safeway grocery store across the street, Starbucks right below the hotel, and hundreds of restaurants nearby. The owner of the hotel even recommended a couple of restaurants within walking distance and gave us directions. I am a light sleeper, and thankfully the street was quiet at night and both the bed and pullout couch were comfortable. It was also convenient to have a full kitchen and stacked washer/dryer in the room. There was also a nice view and a grill available on the rooftop deck. I highly recommend Times Square Suites and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Times Square Suites Hotel for four nights. We selected it based upon Trip Advisor postings and its location close to Stanley Park and public transportation.
The location meant we would not require a rental car. We took the SkyTrain from the airport to downtown and then boarded the trolley to take us to Georgia Street and Denman, just a short block and a half walk to the Hotel.

It is European pension style with a small entry way and elevator. The staff is in a small office downstairs. We were given a warm welcome and a map was marked up for us for the things we wanted to see and do. Our room had all the facilities to support our stay including a small washer and dryer, cook top, small dining area, sitting and TV area and bedroom. Double doors opened onto the really teeny ledge with railings, but it was enough to check out the street action below. We could look down Robson Street into the condo district and tree lined streets leading to Stanley Park about two blocks away. Coal Harbor was a short walk. There was a Starbucks right downstairs with an outdoor patio. Across the street was Safeway with a place on the upper deck to drink coffee. A restaurant for breakfast stood on the other corner. And, dozens of restaurants and shops within a few blocks. We were taken by finding our name on the resident list posted at the entry. Home away from Home.

We could get a good view of the city from the roof top patio also. We did not take advantage of the barbeque grill on this trip.

This place was a great base for our public transit trips (bus, trolley, ferry, water taxi) all over Vancouver, North Vancouver, Granville Island, Gas Town, Chinatown, Library and for our walks into Stanley Park. For our style of travel, the location was just perfect and the hotel served us very well. When we left, we caught an electric bus to within a short walk of Canada Place where we boarded our cruise ship. Such a joy to live in a city for four days with no car to park.

We shall return.

This was just a perfect location for an anniversary trip! It was private for being on busy Robson street. Tucked right on the end near Stanley park, it was still quiet but in the heart of all that goes on. We loved that there was a huge Safeway kitty corner for small trips. Have I mentioned the rooftop patio/garden? What a great place to go relax with a bottle of wine and look over the city. The suite had every ammenity we could ask for (possibly more dishes than we have at home!!). The staff were great and parking was directly under the building. Super great neighborhood with awesome restaurants right near by. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. I was originally nervous as our local pals hadn't heard of Times Square Suites, but now they have and will recommend this to their friends. Thank you, guys. We will make it a point to visit Vancouver again soon!
