We spent 4 nights at the Times Square Suites in May and what a wonderful stay it was. We had 2 suites - a standard two bedroom and a one bedroom with den (twin bed). Both had small balconies. Our only complaint would be the suites were rather warm but keeping the balcony doors open solved the problem for the most part.
Upon arrival, we had to wait to be buzzed in. Security is tight and it takes a key to get into the building and the same key is needed for the elevator. While the trip to the basement to check in might be a little weird, nothing else about our stay off-putting.
The beds were comfy, the bedding was plush. I was never able to call our lodging a hotel - it's much more like apartments complete with small kitchens, dining tables and washer/dryer combos.
If having a mini apartment isn't enough, the location is a sure winner. It's very close to Stanley Park and in a pleasant neighborhood. There is a Starbucks directly below the suites and an incredible grocery store just across the street.
The next time I visit Vancouver, I won;t stay anywhere else. I'm now a huge fan -bravo!More
