The pool in our hotel was tiny, pool in stanley park was crowdy, so our concierge advised us to go there. It’s around 20min by car, 6cad, along the beach, parking to let your car. The pool is outside, & huuuge. Different lines: good swimmers, average, and a place to play for kids (or others ). Changing room & free lockers (need 25cts coin). Big view on the city (but we saw anything because of the smoke).
At return we walked till marine museum and took tiny boat to go on the other side (false creek boat, stop at aquatic center, 6cad trip) and went on by feet.
Nice afternoon

There’s something very understated about this wonderful pool. It’s full of families, real swimmers, and sunbathers, happily sharing a monumental swim space. I couldn’t get over the size - 137 m or 150 yards. You need quarters for the lockers.

Knowing our kids love to swim we headed for this pool with the hopes of catching good views along the way. The pool was fun and they loved it. We were worried about our stuff and should have gotten a locker. Views were ok, smoke from distant fires made views obscured but kids didn’t care and swam for about an hour then hit the snack bar above.

A great couple of days spent here where the kids never got bored of the slide! Very clean and lovely views of the beach. Very reasonably priced!

A friend of mine pointed out this pool at a biking distance from where we lived and I am glad I sampled it. Swimming in a very long pool is so much more enjoyable than having to turn every 25m. Even though the pool is not deep, sportive swimming remains possible there. (Based on a misconception, I was expecting sea water but heated fresh water was fine as well!)
