Pool was lovely, not too cold, loads of space, great location. Good changing rooms, and really good value for money. Perfect for a cool down on a hot August day. Not much seating round the pool, but we found a spot on the grass.

A wonderful pool. Crystal clear and cool. Great for doing laps, even if each length is almost 7 times that of my local pool and seems to take forever. Family entry is $3.07 each, which is amazing value. Locals are so lucky to have this on their doorstep. Probably the best pool I've ever swam in.

An amazing salt water pool. Its length for swimmers doing distance swims is great - no problems with passing or being passed, no worries at turnaround at pool end. As the pool is so long it seems like all these problems are sorted out en route. The temperature is perfect to allow longer swims without feeling tired from water that is too warm. Lots of shallow wading splash areas for families/kids, and deeper water ocean side for diving, with a couple of small slides.
Even on very busy days e.g. sunny three day weekends, morning swims are busy but not crowded. Afternoons can be very busy with lineups of families waiting to get in.
Best bet - mid-morning during the week.

We went for.n early morning swim and loved the pool and location. The water is heated but not warm; so you’re fine if you swim but not the best option for kids to splash around. Still, a lovely option and we’ll be back.

Summer in Vancouver can be quite warm so me and a few friends decided to head to this well known pool to cool off and swim a bit. I am training for a triathlon so I just needed a regular size pool but saw this location and was really intrigued. At 137 meters long, when you first see the length it is a spectacle. The beach was enticing but the crystal blue water was so inviting we quickly put on our suits and goggles to get in some laps.

For lap swimming there is only two lanes with a big area in between the two for passing. Surprisingly it is very organized and only once did someone venture into this area when they weren’t doing laps. A helpful thing about the pool lines is the 25 meter markers indicating (25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 meters). I liked it because having a pool nearly 3 times the length of a normal Olympic sized pool at times you have no clue how far you are.

The shallow end was perfect for families, ranging from about a foot to three feet deep and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The deep end had a few slides for the kids and all around the pool there is plenty of room to lay out. There were people of all ages there all getting along perfectly. It’s a great place to get cool, a workout, or just check out a local spot and people watch. Afterwards we headed to the beach for a quick walk before grabbing a cab back to the city.

Also a big time benefit, only $6.10 for adults to enter. Go before 12-1pm. When we left at 3pm there was a line of about 150 people.
