only open for the warmer months - unbelievable place - and those who like to swim lengths without turning around - kids love the whole area - which is part of Kitsilano Park - near Granville Island ...

“Best outdoor pool”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

If you are training for a triathlon, this is your pool.

Saltwater and 137 meter length. The longest lap lane I have swam in.

Fantastic.

“Paradise for swimmers who love outdoor pools!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

The saltwater, Kitsilano Pool, is one of my touchstones when I visit Vancouver. Be sure to take your own lock (if you are able to find an available locker), or to leave your valuables in your car, so that you can swim without worry. It's a public pool so I would give this advice anywhere (it's not that Kitsilano is particularly prone to theft).

“Awesome.”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

If you are a swimmer, do not miss this. A 137 meter long pool. That's right: 137 meters! Swim lane is laid out nicely and plenty wide. Water is clean and free of any chlorine or chemicals. Beautiful oceanside setting. Mountains soaring in the background and great views back to Vancouver. Good showers and locker facility.
