Great customer service! But a few things as women traveller were missing from the hotel. I found the lighting in the bathroom insufficient, the hair dryer was tiny and under powered, the amenities were manly smelling (but very nice) and the sheets were not soft (but clean and still very nice). Overall the hotel was very nice just a few little things...

I have stayed 4 times in the last month and will be back as often as my business will allow. It is such a pleasure going to a sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, spacious room at the end of busy day. The rooms have grand views of downtown Vancouver and the waterfront. I couldn't help but pull the drapes back and snap a few pictures. Room service was very quick and my food was brought by friendly and very helpful waiters. The food was A+ too. Having lunch on the balcony of the cafe was especially delightful . If you have an occasion to stay at the Terminal City Club you will most definately treasure the experience.

Sincerely,
Terminally in love with Vancouver

This hotel has very nice rooms. The one I stayed in was tiny, but it had a flat panel TV and window seat in place of a couch and standard TV armoire. Because it is part of the Terminal City Club, you have access to the club amenities. There are at least two restaurants in the hotel and club, at least one of which has a balcony for outdoor dining. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only negative is that the hallways leading to the rooms are very narrow and maze-like. But if you don't mind that, this hotel is good value for the price.

We stayed from 7/28-7/30/11 and this is by far the best service hotel I have ever been in. Located just blocks from Gastown and the Docks where the Cruise Lines come in in Downtown Vancouver. You are able to walk to anywhere, even though the food at the hotel is wonderful and the staff will find you anything, including pizza at 2am in the morning! Thanks Cory. Had room 1003 with breathtaking views of everything, extremely comfortable bed, lots of amenities and even a microwave to heat up leftovers at 4am. Went to see Soundgarden (unbelievable) and ended wishing we could stay another night, because it was so comfortable. Len in the fitness center/pool was a real gem, always friendly, helpful and tolerant of 3 adult goofy women. Pool is great and outside deck area with great chairs and views, locker area with shower, steamroom and sauna top of the line. I managed to misplace the list of names for all that helped us, directions, cabs, etc but have never encounted such a polite, nice, helpful group of employees in my 40+ years of traveling. Cannot wait to be able to return and the only problem is that now I will expect that service from other vacation spots and probably will be hard pressed to get it. The other guests with me agreed and we have decided that we must go there at least once a year to be pampered. They even let us use the fitness center/pool at checkout, since we did not catch the train until 5:45 pm and they watched out bags too. The bellman (Fernando?) say we could not hail a cab and got us one in minutes so we would not miss the train. To me, there is not better a place to stay in Vancouver, BC.

Room Tip: Spring for the Executive Suite, Room 1003 was amazing

Second time here. Stayed 4 days with another couple. The two room suites are well appointed and modern. The location, next to Canada Place and in central Vancouver can not be beat. The views to Grouse Mountain and the bay are wonderful, especially in the morning and evening. The front desk staff are most helpful. The pool and exercise area are first rate. This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of a great city.

We found this small boutique hotel through comments on the trip advisor and cruise critic and booked one night prior to our cruise to Alaska. We booked direct through the hotel and paid $229 for a lovey room with views of the city and very plush and comfortable bedding and decor. Instead of taking a $60 plus tip cab from the airport and sitting in rush hour traffic at 5 PM, we took the sky train from the airport. It was located right across the way from the baggage and was only $8.75 pp and took us about 30 minutes and very few stops. We had 3 bags with wheels and a backpack and it was not too difficult to manuever them as we were about 2 blocks from the cruise ship terminal and 2 blocks from the subway station. The lobby desk people were very welcoming and suggested restaurants and their restaurant in the hotel, where llive music was playing and they had a buffet, but we chose our favorite which was only a $5 5 minute cab drive away. The hotel was quiet and set up as an apartment or business type facilitiy and we liked the personal attention rather than a busy tourist hotel with long lines. Last summer we stayed in the Westin Bayshore and found it to be busy and crowded with lots of tourists and buses and we prefer this one. We definitely would recommend them. They have a large indoor pool too and we did not have time to use it. There were several restaurants nearby..

A mistake by our travel agent rerouted us to the Terminal City Club Hotel. Luck for us! This hotel is excellent in a terrific location. Our room was a spacious suite, very nice view, beautifully decorated. Being part of a private club gives the premises a welcome elegant and refined air.
However, it is the service we received from the staff that sets this hotel apart. If I were hiring I would steal Jessica at the front desk, she is exceptional, as is Samantha.
Do not miss a dinner at 1892, their restaurant if you want an elegant and unforgetable meal.
