“Sisterly Love for the Cheese Steak”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

This is a great place to grab a juicy cheese steak and some hand cut fries. The restaurant is modern and they serve beers as well. I stopped here before the hockey game and honestly it beats any dog or sandwich you could get inside GM place. I feel this style of sandwich is very unrepresented in Vancouver, so I guess that's why it's called the American Cheese Steak right? : )

Fries with garlic and garlic dipping sauce were outstanding!
Anyone who loves a cheese steak sandwich will love this place.
Staff were very friendly and explained the nuances of each sandwich. Seating is basic and casual.
Great value!

“This place is pretty good!!!”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

It was pretty good! The meat and mushrooms in the steak were good. The bread could have been a little less dense and a little fresh. The fries were excellent!

Really liked the atmosphere. It is a really great fast casual atmosphere where you can grab a beer and might want to sit a bit longer. Prices were probably a dollar or two more than I'd expect, but I guess you're paying partially for the atmosphere. Really nice modern seating!

This is a decent place to stop in if you want a beer and a sandwich/heavier type lunch or dinner.

“Great food. Just don't go overboard.”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

I was really hungry and saw this place on my walking travels.

Food: the steak is fresh and so is the buns. Very tasty.

Price: you could get a crappy steak and cheese at subway for the price of what you get here. My suggestion is that if you are alone, get a sandwich and they have water you can pour yourself. The sandwich is enough food for one person. You don't need to order fries. They are good but at four bucks, you don't need it. Plus the 3 dollar bottle of coke. The water has lemons in it and it's free.

I will go back.

“Beef Steak with Cheese Sandwiches, Nuf Said.”
Reviewed November 11, 2011

Cheese Steak Sandwiches with Provolone/American or Whiz cheeses. Delicious, yummy and awfully savory.I ordered mine the Philly with Provolone. It tasted better with the Sauteed Onions too. I also had a side of ACC fries (Fries that are tossed with fresh garlic, parsley and parmesan) coupled with Truffle Aoili, mmm mm mmm! My only beef (pardon the pun) is that my Baguette is not toasted warm and crunchy. If they had done that, it would be perfect.
I rate the food as very good. The service takes a long time though but i suppose it comes down to having lots of orders but having few cooks/chefs. Price wise is kinda expensive for cheese steaks but you do get a lot of beef and cheese with it so I guess I do get avg value for the meal.
