“Enfin!”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

Vancover and its suburbs need more places like this...a little out of my way, but worth it. The baked goods are authentic (café éclair w/ coffee custard not whipped cream or bavarian cream...) and nothing like the garbage they sell everywhere else. Nowhere else have I been able to find a 'suisse' other than in France and it is absolutely delicious...the flan is soooo good too...everything is good - I have one request though : tartelette au citron

“"You have to give them Five Stars!"”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

That's what my wife and son told me after their second (and my first) visit to Baguette & Co. Though it's located in the heart of West End, it made us feel as though we were in Quebec City. The women who waited on us were sweethearts, at one point apologizing for their Sunday night punchiness. It turns out the three of us were equally punchy, so it was a good match. The pastries are exquisite, and the cups of coffee are plentiful and hearty.

“Great pastries at the Davie Street store”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

This review is for the small Baguette & Co. outlet at 1102 Davie in the gay village. Superb croissants and French pastries, including mini-quiches and a few savoury items. Good coffee, friendly staff and a fine place to start your day. No idea why Trip Advisor does not recognize this address.

“Fabulous, comfortable place”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

I can never resist stopping by this lovely bakery whenever I'm on Broadway. The atmosphere is really charming and feels very French (you can commonly overhear people speaking French). It is very comfortable sitting down in the back and staying for a while to eat their pastries. The desserts are fantastic, I especially love their mille feuille and the chocolate mousse with hazelnut base (it has a fancy French name but I can't remember). The croissants and almond croissants are also delicious.

“Half, Please”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

You don't have to split a desert here. In fact, it you are having a split-decision day, you can choose from at least ten half-size bakery treat portions and have them both. Same goes for half size croissants (and chocolate croissants). Recently, I arrived just as the hot, fresh full size croissants were being put out. And everything I've ever had here is just about that fresh. The space at the back is one of the most comfortable coffee shops on Broadway, but it feels a bit stuffy back there. Friendly service. No, More than friendly service. If you are wanting a continental breakfast, there's always a selection of Viennoiseries to go with your coffee; hence, a light brunch.
