“Nice cruise on troubled waters”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

We took an evening dinner cruise in August around the Vancouver harbour and adjacent waters for about 2 1/2 hours. It was a lovely warm evening and we looked forward to a nice dinner and a cruise into the sunset. However, once out of the protected waters of the harbour, we hit swells which had us rocking and rolling and, in some cases, thinking twice about eating anything. Now, the food was great and the crew did what they could to minimize the rolling of the ship. we finally changed course and after crossing over to the UBC headlands, made a slow trip back to Granville Island. At last, the seas calmed down and the rest of the trip was fantastic. The sunset was just amazing and overall, we had a wonderful trip. I didn't find the rough water a problem and enjoyed a great meal of salmon, chicken, pasta, veggies and salad. We had plenty to eat, although some people did skip the meal.

“What a Wonderful Way to see the Celebration of Light!”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

Had a perfect night out on the water with Accent Cruises to view the Celebration of Light. I took some friends from out of town--so they could get a different view of this glorious city and so that we wouldn't have to fight the crowds on land to see the show--They could not stop raving about it being one of the highlights of their trip. We boarded the Burrard Queen and were greeted by a friendly staff. We took seats on the top deck and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the marina, where we sipped on yummy cocktails from the bar. We headed out for the cruise and a buffett dinner was served shortly after departure--good food. We bought a bottle of wine from our server and headed back up to the deck to get a spot for the show--What a way to see the Fireworks--Unreal.
Will be bringing more guests in the future!

“Ran out of Food - Not Views”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

On the good side, it was a beautiful day, the route the ship took was really very nice and the commentary by Greig was great when you could hear it. The ship was maybe half capacity but yet there were not enough tables for everyone on the top deck for such a great day. We invited another couple to join us as they didn't have a table to sit at. They were also understaffed self admittedly. "Dinner time- food shortage. Really! These people do this how many times a week and they ran out of food. By the time we got to the front of the line they were rationing what was left and the three cheese tortelini was now penne with tomato sauce, no cesear salad, the chicken was dry, I got four carrot slivers, no bread. Get it together people. The food at best was mediocore. We had to find a server to find us silverware, they completely ran out of coffee before dinner and tea before dessert. Besides the view, this was a big dissappointment.

“Casual Tour”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

The boat itself was a bit dated, but the service and food made up for what the decor lacked.

“Terrific Time for Large Wedding Party”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Was thoroughly impressed with everything Accent Cruises dinner party had to offer. The weather co-operated making this a memorable joyful experience. There were thirty friends and family aboard celebrating a pre-wedding event and everyone had a fabulous time. The food was good, the service was excellent and Greg, the ship's host/officer made us all feel welcome. The drinks were reasonable too. Highly recommend for large parties or smaller groups or even couples who want to enjoy a romantic sightseeing tour of Vancouver's Stanley Park and North Shore.
