“Great location”

Very clean with all the amenities you will need for a great base.
Close to Commercial Drive with plenty of eateries and shops.
Public transport around every corner no matter which direction you're heading.
Cate was a great host and we'll have no problem with staying here again.

“Quiet location”

This apartment is the lower floor of a 3 story house on a quiet tree lined street. Area is a slightly untidy but it feels very safe. You are 15 mins walk from metro station and a large supermarket, but much closer to bus stops that get you into town. Actual apartment is quite basic, but the price reflects that. On site owner.

“Excellent stay”

Cate, the owner met us upon arrival provided us with information about the area. The taxi ride from the airport cost us $35. The flat is very cosy Cate supplied lots of essentials like soap, washing up liquid etc everything to make our stay more enjoyable. We had the use of the washing machine and dryer which was great for us as we were on Hols for 3 weeks. We were 4 blocks away from the sky train which we paid approx $10 for a day runaround we could also use this on the sea bus and the bus service. There was a road full of shops, bars and every type of restaurants also 4 blocks away. It was great to come back to the flat after a long day sightseeing. Our highlight of the Hols was going up to Whistler to ride the gondola. We also hired a car from Enterprise which was only a few blocks from the flat. We would like to thank Cate for her hospitality in making our stay so great we are left with the wonderful memories of Vancouver and will be recommending her flat to anyone else who may want to visit.

“Great place to stay”

This was a great place to stay and visit the city of Vancouver. We had a hire car which we parked around the back of the property. Catherine was a great host leaving you to your self but willing to help if needed. The property was great all the facilities you need. Would highly recommend.

“Home away from home”

Cate's place is in a quiet, well-treed street just one block back from the very busy Broadway Avenue. We contacted Cate ahead of time and met with her before we moved in. She was extremely helpful and made us most welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Cate's apartment was extremely clean, tidy and comfortable. We didn't want for anything. It is close to all amenities. It met all our needs.

“Great place to stay in Vancouver”

This is a wonderful fully self contained apartment. Very clean, tidy and welcoming. Cate and her family are very friendly and helpful but respect your privacy as well. We had some travel hold ups before arriving and Cate was ever so thoughtful even offering yo pick up some groceries for us! Close to downtown and neighbourhood is safe too. Would absolutely stay here again! If you want to live like a local - here's your chance.

“An absolute delight!”

This is such a lovely rental! Clean, in a VERY quiet neighborhood, and conveniently located. The "Safeway" supermarket is only 4 blocks away, as well as the Commercial/Broadway Skytrain station. There is a "Pizzeria Barbarella" 3 blocks away that serves delicious pizza (it is on the "10 best pizzerias in Vancouver" list).
Cate is such a gracious and helpful hostess, as well as her husband David. They were very accommodating, gave us directions, answered our questions, and helped us figure out how to work the gas stove.
The apartment itself is perfect for 2 people. It's got everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, a fridge, a toaster, a stove/oven, a dishwashing machine... There's a big puffy bed and a super-comfy pullout couch. There is also a washer/dryer available and Cate graciously allowed us to use it. The dryer is coin operated ($1) but there were coins already for our convenience.
There is also a cupboard where you will find non-perishable groceries (such as sugar, coffee, grains, chocolate, etc.) from the previous guests. It is very handy.
The price was excellent.
The apartment is only 15 min by taxi (we took the North Shore Taxi to and from) from the airport and the ride is about $30 CAD. If you're taking the Skytrain, it's about 45 min.
The entry is private and you can come and go without disturbing anyone.
Cate and David also have a very sweet cat named Charlie. He is such a sweetie! If you're a cat person, then you will enjoy Charlie's company. He is super-super friendly and affectionate.
We enjoyed our stay very much and we would definitely love stay there again!
