We stayed at the Opus with our toddler boys in June and had a great experience. The location, right across the street from the Skytrain, was perfect. The room was comfortable and colorful, and the little touches--cd-s, dvd player, coffee maker--were all very nice.

Although the Opus is perfect for hip solo and couples travelers, it was very family friendly and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming! I wish I had a picture of my boys rocking out to the dance music in the elevators.

You can't help but be impressed by this hotel, from the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome. Their attention to detail is brilliant and the room has everything you need and more. Every evening when I return the room it is cleaned to a high standard and the location is great, virtually opposite a Skytrain stop on the Canada Line which goes from the airport to the waterfront, ideal.

The Opus is a very cool, contemporary boutique hotel with great rooms, bathrooms, great luxury amenities all designed to make your stay as comfy, relaxed and unique as possible...with zero attitude! The staff all seem to enjoy working here which creates a really great hotel experience for the guests. The doormen greeted us with big smiles everytime, the front desk staff were happy and very helpful, and gave us great advice of places to go, things to do and ways to get around. My sister & I were in a deluxe King room, which was spacious and had a great bathroom. We were looking for a hotel that would allow us to explore the city and the location was perfect! The area is great for restaurants and bars and the hotel bar and restaurant Elixir has a cool scene in the evenings. The subway station is across the street & links to the airport in one direction, downtown and the water ferry the other direction. A short walk takes you to the waterfront promenade and to small water taxis over to Granville Island & Market. The free bikes provided by the hotel, complete with helmets / locks were a nice bonus, allowing us to explore stanley park. I would highly recommend breakfast at the URABN FARE market, a few mins walk from the hotel down towards the waterfront. Filled with locals and offering great coffee and a taste of life in Vancouver. Compared to our last visit (we stayed at Fairmont packed with tourists) the Opus Hotel experience was warm, intimate, peaceful and allowed us to experience the real Vancouver, not just a place where people hop on a cruise ship! We will definitely stay here again and I recc to couples, friends and business travelers alike.

This was our third stay at Opus Vancouver in as many years and it just keeps getting better.
To us Opus means chic LA modern interiors & the mix of Paris chic with friendly staff, beautiful bright modern rooms & sparkling clean bathrooms with great amenities. The restaurant and bar were recently updated and very stylish, comfortable & upbeat. We loved the location in Yaletown with it being so close to excellent restaurants, shops, bars & cafes as well as the ocean, sea wall & parks. We've always been so amazed at how quiet Yaletown is at night - even with the windows open! Even with our departure, our car was brought around immediately and loaded up and my husband said, "Wow, the service here is even better than ever." He doesn't often say too much. We can all find nice hotels and good food but it was definitely the integrity of the service that brings us back year after year! Opus is a little gem with a big heart & staff that can make you feel very special just for being there.
