We came to Vancouver for my wife's birthday and wanted to stay in an upscale hotel. This was a great choice. The staff and service we received were top notch from the beginning to end. We arrived late on Thursday night and they had set out a chocolate dessert with "Happy Birthday" written on a chocolate slab, along with a hand written note from the manager welcoming us to the hotel. Any request we had was fulfilled within minutes of calling guest services. Upon arriving back at our room in the evenings, the sheets were turned down, the blinds drawn and music was playing. It was exceptional. The beds was great and the room was very tastefully decorated.
The only complaint we had was when we went to the restaurant for the complimentary continental breakfast. The breakfast is served until 10. We arrived at 930 to find empty dishes.
We opted to go elsewhere. This was the only disappointment.
We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a weekend away.
