Wonderful boutique hotel in Yaletown, Vancouver.
Excellent staff & service, simply the best.
Good location, heart of Yaletown, lots of place to eat & drink, close to harbour & downtown. The best place to stay in Vancouver.

The Opus is the one to stay in when in Vancouver. Everything about it is first class. Front desk people are professional, courteous, pleasant, and just down to to earth people. The concierge people are all to willing to help, offer suggestions and do whatever it takes to make your stay even better.
The staff makes the hotel what it is and the rooms are just beautiful. Flat screen TV,s, heated bathroom floors, large king size bed, balcony overlooking the area, and within short distance to the sea wall, marinas, and restaurants. We recommend a restaurant just around the corner called "Rodneys". Great seafood, super waiters, and music to make you alive. Make reservations but if you are at the OPUS, just tell the gals in front and you get seated.
Stay @ the OPUS, a sure winner all the way around.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a king room!

Dear keen47, thank you for taking the time to send us your comments. We will ensure to pass on your kind words describing the service you received during your stay with us to the entire team, with a special acknowledgment to our Front Desk! We agree as well that Rodneys restaurant is one of the best in Yaletown, if not the city, for seafood and good times! Thank you again for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future.

Sincerely,

We had a short stay at the Opus this last weekend (July, 2013). The property, the service, and the accommodations did not disappoint. Additionally, Yaletown is wonderful. Easy walking, lots to do, and if you are a dog lover, you will be in heaven. People walk their dogs day and night, and there is always a welcoming wag....

Room Tip: I have no idea if there was a pool, or amenities for kids.... but there was a great kid / dog park u...

Best hotel in Vancouver! Perfect location, friendly/helpful staff, beautiful/immaculate rooms, amazing decor. Each time we have visited, front desk always offered to upgrade us for minimal incremental cost. We once stayed in the enormous penthouse with floor-to-ceiling windows and wrap-around terrace with amazing views for only an additional $100 / per night. All the extra little touches in the rooms/hotel - like complementary iPads, bikes, smartphone, espresso machine, even BMW service - make us feel like we are living in a dream home away from home.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view

The hotel was nicely updated, clean, and good overall. The service was outstanding -- really world class. (It's a shame there's no in-building spa services!) Funky decor was a nice touch, too. The walls, however, were on the thin side and conversation-level noise from surrounding rooms (both on the same floor and above/below us) could easily be heard. The neighbor's dog liked to get up early, and...well, I guess he wanted everyone to get up early, too. That said, the hotel's location makes up for any negatives. Right in the heart of it all! Short walks to False Creek, public transportation, great parks, and great restaurants.

OPUS hotel is a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy a long weekend in Vancouver. We enjoyed the location of the hotel the most. It is within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see and do and it was right across the street from the train station so that made getting to sites and activities that are little further away very easy. Being close to the train station also made it easy and cheap to get to and from the airport. Having the ipad in room was also a nice touch as it aided in locating restaurants and other sites to see. Service here was friendly- enjoyed the candy with turn down service-nice touch. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The only minor complaint is the rooms (which have a more modern decor) can be a bit dark (which has always been my experience with hotel rooms with a more modern design). Would definitely stay here again if we ever get to go back to Vancouver.

Dear Stephanie G, thank you very much for choosing OPUS and for sending us your feedback. We loved hearing how you enjoyed our location, along with the extra touches we have added to the guest experience! The retro candy at turn down has been a fun new amenity, which for you next visit will be different and will keep you guessing! Thank you again for taking the time to post your comments and for choosing OPUS.

Very nice hotel, staff is pleasant and helpful, great bicycle service (4 of them may be a tad not enough on sunnier days)... Rooms are comfy and nicely decorated, and location is both convenient and a fun area to be in, with great bars and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it.
