I stayed here for a nite June 28th until other accommodation was ready. I was surprised to find a fridge/micro/Keurig in my room as well as better linens and bathrobes to wear to the hot tub from which you could get a peak a boo view to the pacific.
Upon checking in I was encouraged to return at a set hour to the lobby for a wine tasting which is held nightly in the hotel. Being as how I had just checked in and hadn't been to Vancouver for a few years I was more interested in having a walk about and seeing what kind of changes had come upon my former home. I would recommend this hotel and may stay here again!

Room Tip: I had a room with a city view. I think it would be impossible not to have a city view in this hotel...

We hope that you found the changes to your former home favorable during your return to Vancouver, and we thank you for taking time to let us know of your stay with us. I was pleased to read that you enjoyed the improvements we have made in linens, robes and the addition of the Keurig coffee machines. I also thank you for letting us know where we can improve and we will be working on those issues shortly. We are sorry you missed us at the wine tasting as it is proving to be a great place to meet plenty of other travelers and share a wonderful hour. Hopefully you will get the opportunity to return to Vancouver again as we would all look forward to showing you more of our great western hospitality.

We stayed for a few days starting from the Canada day and it was a nice hotel overall. The rooms could be considered slightly small but they are convenient and they have a beautiful view, especially during the night. The wifi was not that great either, we wanted to check destinations and ticket prices and we couldn't even see our emails. Furniture and the bathroom seemed a bit old too.
Apart from that, it's a nice and clean hotel with an excellent location; a walking distance to all of the nice and fancy destinations like Yaletown and Downtown. They also have free bicycles for the visitors to use, so if you are lucky to get one of these it's just an excellent opportunity to ride from the hotel almost allover the city centre. We used the bikes to go from the hotel to Stanley Park and we ended up in Canada place. Hotel's staff are also friendly, helpful and willing to provide directions to the visitors.
Definitely a recommended hotel!

Thank you for the constructive review of the hotel. We are pleased that you were able to use the cruiser bikes to enjoy Stanley Park and could partake in the Canada Day activities. I have ensured that our team sees your kind words as they work hard to make your stay enjoyable.

Since you were with us, we have had our internet service provider install new equipment and add more hot spots throughout the hotel to try and alleviate the challenges of the past. We will continue to monitor the accessibility and appreciate all feedback on this issue that we trust has now been rectified.

We look forward to your return to Vancouver in the future.

A welcoming staff and appreciated their recommendations due to us being first time visitors. Location is convenient to many things we did and the view from our room and pool was nice.

However, the hotel is stale and dated and the rooms were disappointingly small. It is not a bad place to stay, but would maybe try somewhere else if looking for something a little more modern and/or hip.

I was pleased to see that as a first time visitor our team were able to give you recommendations to make your stay memorable, and that you enjoyed the view and the hot tub.

We do offer a variety of room sizes, and depending on budgets can range from the cozier single rooms to the expansive two bedroom suites. Our team is always willing to help get you into something preferable to your needs. We have undergone several room renovations recently and will continue to do so to ensure the hotel is always clean and comfortable. We thank you for letting us know how we can improve and what areas need our attention. We will continue to work hard to make all our guests feel at home while they are here.

We hope that you had a wonderful time in Vancouver and that it was the first of many future visits

My husband's job brought us to Vancouver about 12 years ago for 1 year and we "lived" in the condo section of this hotel. We absolutely loved it. When we come back to visit Vancouver we always stay here in the hotel. It is so nice to see the same staff on each visit, always a warm welcome from Chris, Isaac and Albert in particular. The hotel is clean, well looked after and the location is perfect for sightseeing.
The only issues we had on this last visit were, the WiFi connection was very hit and miss (unfortunately, more miss than hit), the second thing was the air conditioner was so loud that we had to turn it off at night. Unfortunately it was during a heat wave this past Canada Day weekend {2013}.
Other than that, it is a nice place to stay.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a quiet air conditioner

Thank you so much for the kind words for Albert, Isaac and Kris. It is always a pleasure to welcome you back each time you visit. The Canada day weekend was indeed a warm one and we apologize that the air conditioner kept you awake to the point of needing to shut it off. I have sent your comments to our maintenance team to see if this can be rectified for the future. I hope that is did not seriously detract from your enjoyment of your time with us. I thank you for taking the time to let us know where we can improve.

The wireless internet has undergone an upgrade that we trust will correct the issues of the past and more equipment is being installed this week. We continue to monitor it closely and work with our service provider as soon as we learn of challenges.

Thank you for taking time to write a review and we look forward to seeing you again.

I stay in the Executive Hotel Vintage Park monthly on business since it is a block away from our Vancouver office, but my wife and I have had a few great recreational stays there as well. This is a bit of a hidden gem in downtown Vancouver and certainly one of the nicest places to stay relative to the price. A short two-block walk south gets you to the north shore of False Creek, where $3.50 will get you a short and scenic water taxi ride over to Granville Island for great food and entertainment. The walk south to False Creek will also get you access to Vancouver's world class biking and walking paths, which extend eastward to Science World and westward toward English Bay and then around Stanley Park and back into Coal Harbour. A water taxi will also take you to Kitsilano, which is another awesome place to kick around in Vancouver. A short distance east from the hotel (~ 6 blocks) is Yaletown, yet another great shopping and entertainment district.

The hotel staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. The building and rooms are well maintained, and overall I get the impression that the hotel is well managed. Rooms are quiet, and its a good place to get some rest in preparation for the next adventure.

We appreciate your review very much, and were pleased to read you had an enjoyable time. We always recommend taking the Aquabus over to Granville island market as it just adds to the experience of this wonderful area. Next time you return to Vancouver, take out one of our complimentary cruiser bikes which will allow you to see even more of the seawall. Thank you for the kind words about our team, I have made sure they see your comments. While the hotel may be guided by the managers, we couldn't begin to do what we do without the exceptional team we have. We hope your next adventure will give you more time with us and we look forward to welcoming you back.

It had been a few years since I last stayed at the Executive Hotel Vintage Park, and not much has changed at this good, affordable choice on the southern end of downtown Vancouver.

Nearly as far down Howe Street as you can go, the hotel is a quick walk to the Davie Village and Granville clubs, but can be a bit of a trek to Pacific Centre and the Waterfront. The Yaletown/Roundhouse Canada Line train station is a longer hike - about 12 blocks, and can be a bit of a wear on your legs especially if you have much luggage.

However, while the Executive Hotel can be away from some of the action, the price point is reasonable for those who don't mind doing a little urban exploring.

Rooms are nicely appointed with firm beds (which I prefer, but I know not everyone does), and large ceiling-to-floor windows in some rooms which let you look out over the surrounding neighbourhood.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay as we used the hotel as our stopover location en route to-and-from Seattle. It is out of the way, but a good, reliable choice for those who like to get out.

Room Tip: If the upgrade gods look down upon you, the apartments are amazing.

Thank you for taking time to send us your review. We were happy to read that you had a pleasant stay and found the hotel to be nicely appointed. For future trips we always recommend using Skytrain to arrive downtown from the international airport. There are usually taxis at the Yaletown/Roundhouse station which would be approx., $5 to the hotel to save you trekking luggage. We recommend guests call us when the arrive at the station, and if our shuttle is available, we are happy to pick you up there. For your next visit we will speak to the all knowing, all seeing upgrade gods to see if they can assist in getting you into a apartment style suite. Thank you again and we look forward to having you stay with us the next time your travels bring you back to Vancouver.

The hotel does not come with grand lobby but more like a boutique hotel. However it is equipped with all necessary facilities. It also has a nice whirlpool with open window and nice open patio that you can enjoy a glass of wine under the sun or moon if weather permit. Also the front desk and concierge are consistently polite and helpful.

The room is not roomy but well arranged and organized. Many drawers and nice size closet to store or hang clothes. It also has nice amenity including Keurig coffee and ceramic coffee mugs, nice glasses in both bathroom and living area. The bathroom is roomy and well equipped with soap, shampoo, conditioner and facial soap which were renewed everyday.

The only drawback, a true one, is the rather spotty WIFI. Although the front desk are helpful to reset the WIFI but it doesn't improve much and connection was slow or simply down.

We are indeed a boutique hotel and we greatly appreciate the time you took to write a review. Our skytop view outdoor hot tub is covered, so even in inclement weather (as Vancouver has from time to time...) it provides a great way to unwind after seeing the city attractions. We have passed along your comments to our internet provider to ensure that the wireless system is strengthened even further to provide consistent reliable service, and we thank you for letting us know. I have also made sure to pass along your praise of our team and thank you for doing so. We look forward to seeing you again.
