Our family of four (two teenagers) were in Vancouver for 12 days and had booked a hotel further out of the downtown core only to discover we were spending a fortune on taxis or waiting for public transport (in the rain), so we decided to change locations. We booked the two bedroom condo on very short notice and couldn't have been happier. We only wished we would have booked it right from the beginning! The location was fabulous, walking distance to the pier where you can catch the ferry to Granville Island and very close to Robson and all the shops and restaurants. The two bedroom condo made it possible for us to have our own rooms and living area to have some space. The kitchen and laundry facilities were very handy and came equipped with soap etc. We also enjoyed the daily wine tasting in the restaurant! Food was good also. Couldn't complain about anything except maybe the wi-fi ... was a little slow at times. All in all fantastic!

My daugher and I had only about 18 hours in Vancouver as part of a Seattle trip. The location of the hotel allowed us to get the maximum sightseeing experience in that amount of time. We spent little money and time in moving about the parts of the city that we wanted to see. It is very close to Granville Island ( a 10-minute walk and a 5-minute ferry ride) and Stanley Park and Yaletown. We were able to walk along residential streets, as we like to see how the locals live, shop in Gastown and eat at interesting places. We were satisfied with our room (it was clean and spacious and had a mini-fridge, though not much of a view), but since we spent little time in it other than sleeping, it didn't matter. What little interaction we had with the staff was pleasant, with no cause for complaint. BTW, the weather in Vancouver in early was absolutely gorgeous(uncharacteristically, we understand) in early October.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and found it very conveniently located in downtown, walking distance to lot of restaurants, main shopping area Robson St. The big bus hop on hop off pick up point is just next door and at the beginning of South Granville St. ramp. Hotel rooms were comparatively small, however there was free basement parking and free WIFI in the rooms. Housekeeping service was very good. It was good value for money booked thru Hotwire.com. If I visit this city again, Vintage Park, Vancouver will be my first choice.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel and apartment for a month. (Work purposes)
Both the apartment and hotel were extremely clean and well kept.
Unfortunately at night the place is under staffed so any problems that may arise will have to wait
until the morning. Location is decent enough, close to Granville Island, Yaletown and English bay only a small walk.

Room Tip: Try and get a suite facing the ocean for fantastic sunsets.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt with great views toward Granville Island. The kitchen made for easy food preparation and the space was great for our 3 sons. 2 bathrooms was also great. Not a lot of food places immediately to hand, but walk a few blocks and you come to some options, fast food etc. staff here are very friendly, fitness room is ok. We didn't have breakfast in the restaurant due to having a kitchen.

This hotel is cozy and warm, just what you need on a cold and wet day in Vancouver!

Yes, it's a little tired, and decor is dated, however they are not charging exorbitant downtown hotel prices. Location is great, and the staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful.

My room had a view of a lot of construction and a highway... but as I was on a business trip this didn't bother me at all. Maybe not great for a romantic visit!

After arriving in Vancouver after a night of zero sleep I was delighted to find I could check in to my room at 9am!
the room was pretty basic, nice decor, adequate view, good bathroom facilities and TV, but accommodated my needs and for $90 for one night I was pretty impressed.
The front desk lad was a little bit rude and abrupt when he couldn't understand my accent (strange seeing as we're both from England) but overall a good stay.

Room Tip: Request a view of English Bay.. you will not be disappointed on a clear day.
