The conservatory and the surrounding Queen Elizabeth Park is a nice close place in the middle of Burnaby to enjoy plants and nature.

“A place of paradise!”

I enjoyed coming here on several occasions and the parrots here are very entertaining and friendly too! I recommend this place to visitors and naturalists alike! Best time to come here is in the spring and summer time!

“Garden of Eden”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

I LOVE this place! It's a magical tropical oasis and a perfect place to visit on a gray Vancouver day, or any day of the year for that matter. It's full of stunning plants and charming exotic birds of all shapes, sizes and colours, that are free to fly and roam around. If you're a bird lover you MUST visit. Stop for tea at the Seasons restaurant next door and you have a perfect day out.

“A large green house”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

I like this place, and have spent hours. There are many tropical plants. But for me the draw is the many birds. The birds are free flight, not in cages. There is the large carp in the ponds. If it is an inclement day in Vancouver. This is an excelent place to come and spend some time. Stop and smell the flowers, listen to the birds calling. Imagine being in a tropical rainforest.

“A bit of the tropics”

Wonderful place to visit on a cold rainy day. It is also close to Queen Elisabeth Gardens so if you're a visiter to Vancouver, they make a great destination for an afternoon. Cheaper than a trip to Hawaii!
