We went to Wicklow's Pub because it was close by our hotel. The food was really good and we enjoyed the patio. I would definitely return here.

Jennifer wanted us to come and give them a second chance as our last visit wasn't ideal. Thanks Jennifer. We sat on the deck and enjoyed a glass of wine and some salads. It was very pleasant! Get there early or you might have to sit inside.

Didn't eat here but had a beer on the patio. Nice view and I hear the sunset is great. Design of the place doesn't give the view of the water you might expect. Waitress was hoving with the bill which we said we didn't want as we hadn't decided if we needed another drink or not yet. When she finally asked for the bill she had several combinations of it, one if one person was paying, 2 for each couple and then separate in case we were paying individually. Made you feel like it's all about the tip and the money rather than letting you relax. I like to be welcomed and relax and not be chased out by the bill if I'm drinking too slow.

Stuff happens in restaurants for sure but it is how it is handled that matters. We have been here a few times and the service has never been stellar but if you can get on the patio on a sunny day who cares?

We couldn't last night so sat inside and waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to show up. We both ordered soup (chowder) and sandwiches. It took awhile and when my hubby dug in he discovered a plastic bread tab in his soup. What? It turned us off the soup and a waiter took my soup and my hubbys whole plate away. Then waited, and waited, and waited....after asking again where is his food it finally came. Was anything comp'd you might ask?

Nope! Not much was said either except the bread is above the soup and must have fallen in. hmmmmm....
