The food is really good -- flavourful and not too heavy. The pizza crust is excellent. Lots of interesting flavour combos. Aside from that, it's a fun place to go with a good vibe. Friends enjoying the company of friends, attentive wait staff and great bartenders. I will go there often when in town.

Well this place is better than sex

After travelling over Italy and having the authentic pizza they have there it was hard adjusting to North American stuff, but after visiting nicli antica pizzeria my sorrows were put to rest! Authentic crust Authentic pizza, never mind the price it's worth every bite. If you want a trendy taste of Italy you need to check this place out.

One thing to note is sadly they don't take reservations, but what the hell it's worth the wait. It's first come first serve so once u put ur name down they send u a complimentary text letting you know your table is ready and waiting. Centrally located in gastown there is lots to see and do.

One of my favourites, the authentic pizza is simple and fresh and the prices are very reasonable. Always a lineup, though. Wish they took reservations! The house red compliments the food and is a steal at about $5/glass but their white and rosé aren't to my taste. Also, unless you're starving, avoid appetizers AND a pizza (or maybe share one appetizer with your date - don't both get one) as some are so filling you'll barely make a dent in your pizza before you're full!

In our 4 days in vancouver we visited this pizzeria twice and tried 5 different pizzas. Not only is their tomato sauce bright and delicious on every pizza but also in their ceasars which were among the best i have had. Apart from the expected traditional pizzas, nicli antica makes bold creative alternatives that change on a daily basis. I was lucky enough to visit them on a sunday and got the privledge of devouring the "brunch pizza", basically a perfect margharita pizza with a silky oozing poached egg on top...Yum.

My wife and I went for dinner and absolutely loved it. Amazing pizza!! The crust was really good, and the tomato sauce they use was awesome. The house red was really nice, and the Tiramisu was light and flavourful. Will definitely be going there again.
