My teenage daughter and I were vacationing in Vancouver in August when we happened upon this wonderful tea house. It is very conveniently located in downtown Vancouver in one of the best shopping districts. It is a retail store as well as a dining salon. The tea service is the best we have ever experienced and we have been to many tea houses. The wait staff were very knowledgeable about their immense variety of teas. Sally served us and we couldn't have been happier. We just told her what kinds of flavors we liked, and let her make the tea choices for us. We both loved her selections so much that we bought teas to take home with us. The food was fresh, delicious, and almost too beautiful to eat....almost! I have to say that the freshly baked scones won us over and we had to visit two more times before our vacation ended. We also loved the atmosphere. It was very upscale, modern, and contemporary. The dining salon feels very spa-like so it is easy to sit back, relax, and enjoy a wonderful experience.

On our last day we were looking for a place to have high tea. They have a very nice dining room and several choices for high tea. The children's selection was very nice - my kids loved it! The "petite" plate for adults was just enough food for lunch and a nice variety of items - in fact we couldn't finish it all and they packed it up for us. The staff was very friendly and offered helpful suggestions. I'm glad we stopped in!

Tucked away on Alberni St. in downtown Vancouver, it is one of the nicest place to enjoy tea and desserts with friends, family or a significant other. They have a wide array of teas from all corners of the world and impeccably prepared desserts to tickle your palette. Their servers are well-versed on everything tea and what pairs well with it. They take the time to introduce you to different teas to suit your preference. As a tea and coffee enthusiast, I can appreciate their passion to share their knowledge.

I visited with a friend and I regret coming with a full stomach from lunch. Since it was a hot day in Vancouver, we opted to have our teas iced and it was very refreshing! I will definitely come back to try the petite service....

High tea with a big price tag. 3 people $100. You get 3 small sandwiches, scones and average desserts (too sweet) Still hungry after that.
