“Great food... Service is alright”

Best poached eggs I've ever had. Served eggs Benedict style, only with a tasty yoghurt sauce instead of hollandaise.

“A warm environment; great service and wonderful food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

A small storefront you would pass without a second look... unless you check inside and smell the exceptional aromas of huge filo rolls filled with tasty, flavourful, beautifully spiced fillings... chicken, lamb, beef, vegetable and sweet. THe owners are charming and authentic. They serve the plentiful entree burek and fresh salads at a very few tables with two more outdoors. Service is friendly, prompt and knowledgable and the food is terrific value. One of the few restaurants I know with great breakfasts AND dinners!

“DO NOT MISS THIS ONE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

You might be tempted to pass right by this tiny little restaurant on Denman - quaint is the best word to describe it. But the food is fantastic and the ambiance is quiet and lovely. The service is very attentive and you can try all kinds of delicious ethnic foods - all for a very reasonable price. Skip the pricier places on the strip and check out this friendly and cosy restaurant - you'll be glad you did!

“A Bulgarian find on Denman.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012 via mobile

First Bulgarian restaurant we have ever tried. Filo pockets stuffed with chicken and lamb were our choices, accompanied by a small side salad and roasted yams and potatoes, nicely spiced. A small restaurant less than 6 tables and a couple of tables outside. Good value and an interesting, different culinary experience. Oh yes, they are licensed.

“Loved the Burek”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

This was a great find. We walked past and looked into the restaurant and it looked warm and inviting. We went in, unsure of what to order and the waiter recommended we try the Burek. It was really tasty. It was a delicious "meat pie" for lack of better words that was filling and had great flavours. It came with a salad and other sauces, very, very good indeed. I would recommend this to anyone!
