Good location, it's easy to go visit Vancouver as the bus that goes downtown passes just in front of the hotel, it takes about 30mn to get to the city center.

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The place in general is quite pleasant, but it can be just a bit noisy as people pass in front of the room, nothing really disturbing though.

The only really bad point for me would be the wireless. If you're not too concerned about it then it's no biggy, but if you need internet for work for example, you cannot rely on their connection.

All in all I would recommend this place and I would go back.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. It is always nice to hear that our location and rooms are meeting our guest's expectation. Sorry to hear that you were here while our internet was giving our guests some hassles. You should notice a convenient change the next time you are staying with us. The courtyard of the hotel was very nicely manicured and the overall appearance of the hotel was inviting as well. I'm giving the staff 5 out of 5. They were very helpful in suggesting good places to eat and helping us print out tickets that we had to an event that for that evening. When my key card wouldn't work (user error) the front desk person walked me to my room and helped me use it (and of course it worked) without a hint of an attitude for having to do so. I was pleasantly surprised with breakfast. There was a variety of pastries, bagels, bread, cereals, fruit, juice, tea, coffee and a large flat screen and plenty of tables for everyone. This was a perfect start to a long day of touring. Our room was decent and clean. It came with a flat screen TV, refrigerator, but no microwave (but I'm guessing if we had asked for a room with one they might have obliged). The location was close enough to downtown to get there in about 10 minutes. As a side note: the restaurant right across the street, The Tipper, is cozy, reasonably priced and very tasty. Overall, I am pleased with my stay there and would definitely return if I'm ever in Vancouver.

It is always nice to hear that our staff looked after you so well. We do have an experienced staff that have been with us a long time and know the area very well. We have done a lot of upgrades to our rooms this year, most notably all of our rooms have new furniture with white granite tops. All of our deluxe rooms do come with a microwave and we also have one in the lobby that all of our guests are welcome to use.

Our Courtyard Garden is our pride and joy, it is quite unique. The Tipper restaurant across the street we truly appreciate. Not having a restaurant of our own (we serve a complimentary continental breakfast buffet for our guests daily) it is nice to be able to confidently recommend them to our guests. The chef owns the restaurant and it seems like he is always there. We keep their menu in all of our guest rooms and they act as our room service. Thank you for taking the time to write your review and we will always be here for you should you find yourself in Vancouver again. Sean Barrington, Operations Manager.

We do take a lot of pride in keeping our garden looking as good as we can. It is a very unique amenity of our hotel. It is nice to hear that you could still enjoy it in the rain. Thank you for taking the time to write your review and we look forward to welcoming you back. Sean Barrington, Operations Manager.
