This was our 2nd stay in the hotel, and it was even better than first one. Came over for Metallica concert, with some friends who never been in Vancouver before. Chosed this hotel, because last time we were there, we had really nice stay, hotel is very central to everything. Hotel front desk staff was very nice and very attentive, put ll of us on the same floor, so we could be toghether and suggested restaurants and things to do for all of us. Morning staff arranged a trip on Big Bus for us and off we went!!! In the evening we went for the concert, which was AWESOME, and we actually extended or extra night, because the weather was nice, hotel was great, everything was great..it was just really really nice weekend overall.
Highly recommed to everyone!!!

I stayed for 4 nights here in June & for the price is a great option for Vancouver.
The location is great, I was able to walk everywhere easily from here without any problems at all.
The room was good, decent sized with all the amenities I expected. Having a washing machine & dryer onsite was also a bonus.
The front-desk staff were very friendly & helpful.
I would stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was my first stop while coming to Canada. It was not large but as I was out on tours each day it was a great place just to crash. It is located in the centre of Downtown and the staff were extremely helpful. Lots of places to eat near by as well as wings down stairs. I recommend it for any one who is looking for a good location and not wanting to be a hermit. One down side was that the tour buses did not pick up or drop off from the HoJo. (understandable as it is a busy street) but just something to keep in mind :-)

This hotel was very handy for downtown Vancouver and the cruise terminal at Canada place was only a short taxi ride away. The city tour bus stop was only a few yards from the front of the hotel and the reception staff were only to happy to arrange discount tickets for us. The hotel was clean and comfortable although the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy. We would definitely stay at this convenient hotel again.

Room Tip: Our room was at the side of the building without much of a view. However,we heard very little traffi...

Me and a friend booked through Hotels.com for 2 nights during the week in August. For 2 Queens it came to about $300 total, so not too bad for being right downtown and booking the night before. Everything about the room was fine except for one interesting problem - there was a pair of dirty panties hanging up on the inside of the bathroom door (see the picture). So clearly the cleaning staff missed this gem. We told the front desk about it when we got home that night, who said all they could do was switch our rooms, which didn't make any sense at 1am. The response to this problem was pretty poor by the hotel, and they took the easy way out saying they couldn't give us a discount or do anything else for us because we used Hotels.com to book. You are still taking our money and so we are still your customer, so you should treat us that way. And the best part is, after the room was cleaned the next day, the panties were still there! So clearly the hotel staff didn't think to make some note about this to ensure they were removed. You need to take better care of your customers, and I hope this Poor rating helps motivate you to do that.

Some people have complained about noise here - we stayed 4th floor on the Granville side, and with the widows closed it was fine. But this was on a weekday, so weekends could be different. There is a club literally under the 1st floor of the building (called Barcelona) so when that thing is pumping I would guess it would be pretty loud.

Overall, a good hotel for nightlife and sightseeing. It is also easy to get to the airport. The sky train to the airport is very close by: it took me about 1 hour to get from my hotel to my gate (domestic flight).

Ok so the price was fine very competitive. What I like was the lovely sent as I walked into the lobby. The parking was next to the building and had video surveillance. I also loved that we were in the heart of down town and we left the car parked as we could literally walk everywhere!
free wifi and the TV was a flat screen which so many higher end hotels still don't have.
A fairly standard room.. but hey did we mention the price. has a great restaurant attached too.
The big seller was the customer service. maybe they just do it better in Vancouver but the staff was great.

Room Tip: if you don't enjoy night life just get a room on the back side of hotel. But I guarantee you tha...
