We stayed 7 nights here in May and although I had booked a one bedroom suite we were very pleased to be upgraded to a 2 bed roomed suite which gave us more room. Our suite was on the ground floor and was very quiet and peaceful. The rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen had a full cooker, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kettle and a dishwasher. Ample towels and kitchen cloths were provided.
Our suite was cleaned and the bed made every day by very pleasant and helpful ladies.
In the basement are washing and drying machines which you pay to use. Soap powder can be bought at reception.
During our stay we needed some attention for th t.v. remote and this was quickly sorted out for us. The staff on reception are lovely and can't do enough to help you in any way they can. We were offered the use of the computer in reception during office hours which was an added bonus as we were having problems with our own. There is free wifi in the suites.
The position of Rosellen suites is ideal as you are just a few yards walk from glorious Stanley park and in the other direction just a very short walk to a wonderful selection of places to both eat and shop. The bus stop is at the end of the road to take you into town and a longer walk will take you to the False creek ferry which will take you to , among other places of unterest, Granville island market which is a must see.
We will certainly choose Rosellen when we are next in Vancouver for a safe, comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay.

Thanks very much for all your great suggestions. So very sorry that you had a challenge with your television. Remotes can be a challenge with today's ever changing electronic world. Very glad to hear that the situation was resolved quickly for you. We look forward to seeing you back on your next visit to Vancouver.

We spent four nights (in 2 different suites) at Rosellen Suites on a recent vacation. This was clearly an apartment building in a previous life - the suites were very big and nicely appointed (especially the 2-bedroom suite - it was huge!). The paint and fabrics were a trifle tired in the suites we stayed in but the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The full kitchen is well-equipped.The staff are consistently helpful and friendly, and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. And the welcome basket of goodies (water, coffee, popcorn etc) was useful when arriving late after a long flight.
But the best thing about Rosellen Suites is the location - just a few blocks from fabulous restaurants and handy shopping on Denman, a few streets away from the shopping mecca of Robson, a nice walk to the seawall and a very short stroll from Lost Lagoon on the fringes of Stanley Park. The location is central but quiet, and it was nice to wake up to the sound of birds from the park (and no traffic). Every time we walked back to the hotel we thanked ourselves for picking this great place to stay and wondered about how much it would cost to buy an apartment on the same street. Thanks to Kent and his colleagues for helping to make our Vancouver holiday special.

Thanks very much for sharing your experience with TripAdvisor readers. Glad to hear that you were able to experience a couple of different suites as each of the 27 suites is unique. The one thing they all have in common is, as you mentioned, they are among the most spacious in the city. And, we do have many options depending on personal preferences. Our "Classic" style suites are indeed a bit older and are what many guests, particularly our repeat guests, prefer. These are great for the guest who wants a spacious, clean and homey type suite similar to visiting the Vancouver apartment of your favourite Aunt. The "Personal-ity" suites are a bit more updated with individual themes and the added modern amenities many guests can't live without like flat screen TV(s), DVD/CD player, iPod docking station and upgraded bedding. The great thing about Rosellen is that guests have many options to choose accommodations that most closely meet their own personal preferences. Thanks, again, for sharing. We look forward to your return.

Since moving back to Zurich (after living six years in Vancouver) 'The Rosellen' has been my Canadian home.
The location is great, the staff is very friendly, most helpful and welcoming. The suites are clean, each suite is individually decorated - by people who obviously did it with great care and good taste. This, and the residential area of the hotels location makes it a true home away from home! So much so that a suitcase always stays in their storage - at the ready for my next visit. Being close to English bay, Stanley Park and the many WestEnd restaurants adds a lot of icing to an extraordinarily well-done cake! My extra suitcase stays, and I will be back for sure!

Room Tip: Suite #102 has beautiful art ;-)

Thank you so much for sharing your comments. Our guests who make Rosellen their home year after year, such as yourself, is what makes working here so enjoyable. Thank you for mentioning the art work in 102. The work in this suite was created by our artist-in-residence, Marie-Anne Vorlet. The hotel also features a regular rotation of local artists through MAB Ventures offering guests an opportunity to see some of the Vancouver talent up close and personal. We look forward to your return soon!

Rosellen Suites has been a true home away from home for us over the last twenty odd years. The unfailing welcome and extraordinarily helpful service and good cheer of all the staff, together with the location, spacious accommodation, and high standard of cleanliness, make this place a real winner for us. Whether staying at Rosellen Suites for a few weeks or a few months, and whether visiting for work or for holiday, we have always had a wonderful time. We always recommend it to family and friends and each time we come we look forward to our next visit.

The rosellen apartments are in a great location, 2 mins walk to stanley park, 5 mins to Denhm st and 15 to down town Van. The place is old school 70s but cozy n well equipped with great beds and good bathrooms. And the leafy street is really quiet. the staff were cool and very helpfull. Cheers for a great 3 nights.

Room Tip: we had a room on the street but it was fine no noie and no traffic.

Glad that you enjoyed your visit and thank you for mentioning the great location. One of the most appreciated attributes of staying at Rosellen Suites is that all the best Vancouver has to offer is just steps from the front door, great walking trails through Stanley, Park, beluga whales at the Vancouver Aquarium, superb sunsets over English Bay, endless dining on Denman and a 15 minute walk to the Vancouver Convention Centre. We look forward to your return.
