This is centrally situated and comfy two bedroom. Compact kitchen is handy. Would have been nice to have a second bathroom but this is value for money. Access to laundry facilities is a bonus on a long vacation. Restaurant n pub downstairs give good value. Very close to the sports stadium for all the lovers of sport. Electricals n whit goods are a little dated and could benefit from an upgrade. Easy access to wifi at daily rate.

Grewt central location. There is a marketplace IGA grocery store only a 3-4min walk away on Robson St, lots of different types of cuisine available near by.
Room service is great, and food is great quality (Rosie's restaurant).
I'm in a one bedroom suite and whilst parts are a little dated (particularly the mini kitchen) but everything works and the room is comfortable and has everything you need. Bedroom and lounge room have floor to ceiling windows so you have a great view and it lets a lot of light into the room, queen bed is very comfortable, bedroom has small closet, LCD tv, draws, two bedside tables with lamps and clock radio, as well as a writing desk, mirror and phone. Off the small hall is a bathroom which is surprisingly tiny for the size of the suite but is well lit and includes a shower/bath.
The lounge is a decent size with a sofa bed/couch, coffee table and arm chair. There is also another writing desk with phone, LCD tv and drawers and a mini kitchen encompassing an oven, three burner electric stove, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, cupboard containing bowls, plates, cups, mugs, utensils, saucepan and frying pan, tea pot, kettle and toaster. Only thing I found was that there was no oven trays so perhaps this could be something for hotel to look into.

I had a great time in this hotel and would definitely stay again :)

Room Tip: Stayed in room 1202 and had no street noise (except the occasional emergency services siren). Great...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I have made note of the kitchen issue needing updating. As for extra pots and pans, we do have them in housekeeping and they can be brought up to your suite upon request. We have quite a selection so issuing them to every suite would be impossible due to lack of space in the kitchenette.

Thank you

If you need to use the Internet do not come to this hotel. I personally will not stay here again. It was very frustrating to get on line. Staff even had trouble getting me on line. I was going to leave but I could not get a place for the next 2 nights.
Very good location, staff very nice but when you can not get Internet, it is not worth it

Thank you for your comments about the WiFi service. We will be directing this comment as well as your comment card to the service provider. A considerable amount of money has been spent on upgrading the system so why you are experienceing these issues is a bit of a mystery. We had the service provider on site on Friday and they were unable to find anything wrong. We obviuosly will get them back to work on the WiFi in the suites.

Thank you

I have been to the Rosedale more than 5 times...and every time, there has been intermittant wifi internet in the lobby. This is not a new story either, as the staff are so immune to complaints that they have no power dealing with, the customer's complaints seem to fall on deaf ears. I mean the internet is TERRIBLE....I really needed to print a form off the internet, and was using my laptop to get the site info, and for the life of me could not get past the google page as the inernet would be on to get the page, but then shut off right away, and tell me that I only have limited acess...If this is going to be a regular thing, I am not going to return for more business trips here. and really, if the internet is the problem, why not make the internet in the rooms free...who pays for wifi? when everyone knows its free, where am I, an internet cafe in my own room? Ridiculous.

Also, why are all the dumpy tv's by the beds, and the nice ones by the couches? who the hell wants to sit on the couch after a long day and watch tv on the 'nice' one...NOONE, and then you get the red lines of DEATH on the dumpy tv by the bed, and then you HAVE to sit in the living room.

Thank you for your review. The WiFi issue in the lobby may be due to where you are seated. The network for our part is Lobby East which is strongest at the east end of the lobby. The farther you move away from that area, the weaker the signal. If you are sitting near the restaurant, near the elevators, your signal may be very spotty. As for WiFi in the suites, we have a contractual arrangement that prohibits us from giving the service away for free. This agreement runs out in about a year. At that time we will be able to offer that service with the suite. All TV's are being replaced so that flat screens will be in every room of every suite. We have replaced over 500 with the last 100 being replaced this winter.

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel.Very convenient location.

We previously had a room on a higher floor but this time we got a room on a lower level. However this was convenient as the lift is quite busy and it was easy for us to walk downstairs.ooms are clean. However the shower is not good as the water pressure is very low. Not sure whether the lower level was the reason as we did not have this problem previously

Food at the restaurant downstairs "Rosies on Robson" has excellent food and entertainment on some nights.Reasonable prices. However a service charge of 16.5% is automatically added to the bill.

There are also several fast food places nearby. Subway is next door and McDonald's is opposite.

Only negative comments are-
No free Wifi. It was very disappointed when most 3 star hotels provide this service.

Room has a kitchen. However this is useless as there are no utensils/pans to use.If you planning to use the kitchen you will need to bring your own pans.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet.

Thank you for your comments. As for the kitchenettes, they are all supplied with a complete set of dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans. I am surprised by your comment about nothing available. As for the free wifi, we have a contractual arrangement that ends in about a tear. At thea time WiFi will be available in the suites for free. Currently we wonly have free wifi available in the lobby. With regard to your comment about the gratuity, I will pass on your remarks to the restaurant as they are owned and operated separately.

From October 21-24 no internet. Screen was frozen trying to download. Page was not streaming. It was the twilight zone with free lobby Wi-Fi. Don't believe that hype. Poor reception. A boutique hotel can do much better than this?

Room Tip: Avoid 1909 warm to cold air coming out of the vent. Instant cold sick spell.

This hotel is walking distance to everything. You can shop on Robson Street or go to Pacific Centre, 10 minute walk to Rogers Arena and tons of restaurants for you to choose from. We stayed here for a concert and had the Junior Suite with 2 double beds and a pull-out sofa bed as well as a mini kitchen. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful
taxis downtown are cheap and the local 7/11 across the road does the best chilli cheese hotdogs
