“Superb Location”
Reviewed January 7, 2012

We stayed five nights in total, four at the beginning of our holiday then overnight two weeks later. Great location within walking distance of BC Place and Rogers Arena with Queen Elizabeth Theatre a stone's throw away. Also close to bus and train routes and not far from Gastown and Downtown generally.

7 Eleven acorss the road and Subway around the corner with a small drug store just beyond that and not too far from London Drugs so everything you need is close by. We had a one bedroom queen room and while the bathroom was on the small side, both the lounge and bedroom areas were ample. Didn't use the kitchenette to cook with but it was ideal for breakfast particularly with supplies close at hand from nearby shops.

The laundry was very convenient and the indoor pool was a good size and temperature. We had an evening meal at Rosie's which was good and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if we were lucky enough to go back to Vancouver.

We have been twice in the last three months...and before that as well. Excellent service, great restaurant/pub attached with great atmosphere. The suite we had was great, very comfortable and clean. We will be back!

Room Tip: A higher room or a suite is great.

Thank you for your up beat comments. With regard to your comment about a suite would be great, we are an all suite hotel. You may have a been in one of our 6 batchelor suites which are normally on the higher floors. If so, just make sure that you ask for a one bedroom suite and that will give you more space.

Thank you

Location, location, location. Walk to: Vancouver's two major sports arenas, Yaletown for hip restaurants, Robson shopping, Vancouver's unique library, Vancouver Art Museum, Gastown and hope a inner harbour ferry to Granville Island. We also had our skis for Vancouver's three city ski areas.
Our home was part of VI timeshare. Just the right space and great view. There is a pool and spa, free morning newspapers and restaurant on site.

This hotel is part of our timeshare so we stayed here. The location is excellent, right down the street from Rogers Arena and BC place right on Robson Street. These were great to use as landmarks when trying to figure out how to get back after shopping. Loved the 7-Eleven across the street as we were able to get snacks and drinks there. Yaletown is just a short walk, as is the Yaletown Sky train station. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The rooms were updated and truly have used the space very well. The bedroom furniture is a bit dated, but it is comfortable and worked for us since we didn't spend much time in the room.

We had 2 short stays here before and after a trip to Whistler. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed. Bed was a bit firm. No in room safe but we were able to have a safety deposit box at reception. Location was good, we were able to walk everywhere. There was a grocery shop over the road and a restaurant attached to the hotel. We weren't happy with the concierge when we booked a bus to Whistler only to find there had been a problem with the booking and it hadn't been made, we were told a message had been left for us but we hadn't received it. The concierge on the next shift sorted it and got us on a bus at the last minute. We would stay again for a short stay.

Stayed here with wife and young infant son about three years ago. Caught a lift from the airport with some friends. Large room, nice view.
Breakfast was very nice, so was the pool.
Staff were very friendly - they helped me fit a car seat into a hired car, sonething which would have taken me forever...and gave me directions, very helpful.
had food in the resteraunt, but pricy but was OK.
Would stay again.

We stayed for one night only while we were in town for the Sting concert. The hotel was great, the lobby, restaurant, room and yes hallways, were all very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were good and the room itself (room 1412) had a nice view of the library... Two flat screen tvs, a small kitchenette and a sitting room, nice size bedroom with queen bed. You can walk to everything, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, shops on Granville and Robson, BC Place.... Would definitely stay again.... Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful!
