A real home from home place to stay in central Vancouver. Spent 17 nights visiting from England. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and spacious with great city views from 14th floor. All the staff were consistently friendly, helpful and efficient. Good value for money and an ideal location for exploring the city - downtown area, ferries, beaches, skytrain all accessible on foot with an extensive choice of food shops and restaurants on the doorstep. We loved Davie Street's Urban Fare for delicious treats and Marquis Wine for great choice and knowledgeable staff.

Room Tip: A high floor is quieter with good views

Front desk staff most welcoming and accommodating particularly the 'good looking bald guy', hotel was quiet, very clean, we had two room suite with two bathrooms, each were sizeable and the kitchen was bigger and more equipped than my one at home! The sitting room area was airy and confortable with a third TV. The complimentary breakfast was a great start for the day whilst the pool was a great way to cool down after a day of sight seeing and shopping. Terrific location with everything on the door step, sitting on the balcony at night you realise how central the hotel is. For those domestic goddesses there is a seven eleven across the road, alternatively around the corner in Howe st there is starbucks, tim horton and lots of other eateries. General atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed, cheerful and friendly

Room Tip: better views higher up

Our family of four including our two adult children stayed here for three nights. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Vancouver. A complimentary shuttle can drop you off downtown and there are buses close by. We walked to most places. It is close to lots of good eating strips including Yaletown and Davie Street as well as being very close to Granville Island. The breakfast was pretty average, but OK. The staff while being very friendly and helpful, didn't seem to know much about the local area and that due to the hotel being in such a great tourist location they could brush up on their skills in that department. There was no information folder in the room about the hotel, such as the location of the pool, gym. or guest laundry or how to work the TV or make phone calls.
Having said that, our two bedroom suite was very clean, well furnished and had lovely comfortable beds. We had a great time staying there and would happily stay again.

The value provided by the Landis is very high. We were there during the Celebration of Light AND One Direction held a concert one of the nights we were there. The room cost was still reasonable. The two bedroom suite provided plenty enough room for our family. The smaller room was a little tight, but it is just for sleeping in. The glass-walled dining room was unexpected, but is interesting feature that let a lot of light into the room. Parking is difficult, but that is the case in any big city. The parking area is shared by the Residence Inn next door, The Landis, and private parking tenants. Make sure you park in the correct area. It is the spaces closer to the Landis side of the building. We almost got an $80 ticket. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the toilet needed to be serviced one evening and we could not get it fixed until the next day. The staff were ALL very friendly and helpful. I just would expect to be able to have the issue resolved faster.

The pool and exercise room are also shared between the Residence Inn and The Landis. It is not a problem, just something to be aware of.

You cannot really beat the location. It is a relatively short walk (10-15 minutes) to Sunset Beach or slightly longer to English Bay. Lots of restaurants are right in the area. If you like Japanese find Guu Garden!

No question. I would consider The Landis strongly for our next trip to Vancouver.

The Landis was a very good place to stay for a family. Our suite had 2 bedrooms, dinning door, living room and a kitchen, The location is right downtown and within walking distance of most areas. When staying here you have access to the pool and weight room at the Marriot next door via a connected walkway.

Breakfast was an assortment of muffins, danish, cereal and breads. Coffee, juice and hot chocolate were also available.

We would recommend this location to all.

We arrived at the hotel after landing and the people at the reception were so helpful. They first gave us a very comfortable room with a kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. However, the second bedroom did not have the double beds we had asked for and so they upgraded us to the penthouse suite which was AMAZING! The view was spectacular and each room was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities required. The breakfast was tasty but there was not a variety of foods. The main lady serving was helpful and friendly. It was a lovely stay and we would definitely stay there again. A man called Mr Khalid was very helpful. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 11 and 15)

The room was clean and large 2 bedroom.Great shopping and food close by,parking and access was convienent, front desk friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was average and very busy if you didn't get there before 7:30 am,outside patio looked very nice if the weather was better!

Room Tip: one problem was lack of toilet paper, and a leak behind the toilet that either didn't get noticed...
