“BC Lions game, we won”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Love the new roof, watched it open before game. Enjoyed game under the stars. Although with all the advertising signage around stadium it was very distracting. More noticeable than anything else in building is advertising (all lighting for this outshines the game or evening sky). New seats are roomy and great cup holders, too bad people are not respectable to environments around them, pick up your garbage and try not to dump your sticky drinks on floor (others have to walk over). Did not have any issues with line ups for alcohol (be smart do not stand same line up for hot dogs if you just want a beer). Washroom line up was not too long either. Colours around building are much more welcoming and lively.

It has very comfortable seats and the view from all sides is great. Love the new closing and opening roof.

Saw Roger Water's THE WALL at BC Place Arena - incredible sound, amazing concert, and the host that was in my area was great, really made my experience better (no one standing in front of my view!)

“Beautiful stadium”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

This was our first visit to BC Place to watch a Whitecaps game. The retractable roof was open and allowed for a beautiful night on the pitch. Our seats were cushioned with plenty of leg room and cup holders for your beverages. The reason I only gave it a rating of 4 was the food...not good and overpriced. I expect to pay more at the stadium venues, but the "jumbo" hotdog was the size of a regular Oscar Meyer and cost $5.50...nachos with barely any cheese were $6...and beers were around $8 and up depending on type. Also recommend taking transit to get there as parking is limited in the area. The sky train will drop you off right nearby. Will definitely go again, but eat before entering.

Old is new again. Bright, Airy, Well lit and unobstructed views. An excellent job with the renovations. Its hard to believe it is almost a 30 year old building.
