Take No. 5 bus right outside the hotel and you will get to the Vancouver Main Street such as Burrard Street in 3 mins (4 stops). Then you can access to Metro and connect to other part of city.
Room view from 20th floor is magnificent and you should get to get sea view as well as the city view. Both are great views at sun set hours even in the room. Room is in comfortable size (Asian body built) and clean. Room wall is thin though, if you pay attention you can hear clearly your next room TV or people talking outside your room. For those who have sleep quality issues, please bring ear mask.
The restaurant, Cloud 9 Revolving Restaurant at the top floor of the hotel gives you a beau-ti-ful 360 degree city view in both day or night time. The set dinner starts at CAD 40 excluding tax and service charge. This should not be missed.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor and the floor with less guest. Room wall is thin!

The hotel in and of itself is a bit average. Had a room with two beds. Okay in size. Room was on a high floor so good views of the city. Could use a paint job and some new furniture.

The revolving restaurant is very fun. Get fantastic views of downtown Vancouver and the metro area. Try to go on a day with clear skies to get even more beautiful views of the magnificent Vancouver, BC.

Stayed May 2011.

Spent two weeks here The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room basic but was kept very clean. Tiling in bathroom and the decor could do with an upgrade. With the hotel being in such a good location time spent in the room was minimal. Breakfast was good but not cheap if you had family with you . The revolving restaurant was lovely, again quite expensive but worth at least one visit . There are so many interesting eating places nearby you are spoiled for choice. Another thing that was useful is the staff will book day trips for you which are well worth the money. I was concerned as to the safety walking around on my own but need not have worried. Everywhere people were so nice and helpful. The hotel hairdressers is very good also the shop in the foyer.

Room Tip: My room had a view towards English Bay and round to Stanley park area which looks wonderful when li...

Probably one of the best location in downtown Hotels, Whenever i visit Vancouver 10 out 9 i go to Empire landmark Hotel because of Location, and Hotel itself is very nice with its Price. Staffs are very friendly and they even letted me check in earlier(check in time is 3pm i got there around 10AM) As you see the hotel is on Robson you are in the middle of DOWNTOWN so you could go anywhere by walking. And Since shops are mostly located on Robson street most of stores are 5 minutes walking distance well as Stanley park. Room is in good condition quite clean and as i said its good price for this location

Room Tip: ask for city view to see some ocean

There was a wierd damp smell in the room. We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly as well. It took about 15 minutes to check-in though but for the rest of the trip reception was always available. Great location. This could be amazing hotel it just needs mahor renovation.
