This is an amazing garden in the heart of a modern city, very relaxing and refreshing to release your stresses.
Beautiful pastural settings to wander from one area to another and then enjoy a relaxed delicious lunch or a lite bite. A great place to relax and lose all sense of time.
Two hours in this garden is a great way to chill out. Beautiful, tranquil and varied. Take no 10 bus from downtown (Granville Road) to West 37th and walk 500m. Café is good, seems to be a lunch spot for the well-heeled local residents! Garden is also worth visiting if you are an amateur birdwatcher.
This is a lovely garden to take your time and enjoy the environment. It is mostly allowed to grow the way it grows (from a maintenance perspective) so it is a bit less polished than some of the other gardens in the area, but still very nice to see. Be sure to take a tour and/or chat with the volunteer guides. They tend to be very knowledgeable and passionate. I think I learned a lot!
This is a lovely and varied garden, and we were glad we visted. However, it is not fully accessible. Many of the paths are gravel and inclines can be steep; my small scooter could not manage some of them. there are a lot of fully paved paths, but the map doesn't indicate which are fully paved and which are gravel or dirt.
