Enjoyed our stay, particularly our view from the room of the city and harbor. Didn't have a balcony like some rooms but still roomy and comfortable. The microwave and fridge came in handy. Best part for us was location, close in to the city but with easy access to Burrard and Granville bridges. We spent time in Kitsilano and at Granville Island and also zipped down to Seattle for a day and the hotel was well-located for trips south. Two mild complaints: elevators were slow (but price you pay for prime view, I guess) and the carpet in our room was definitely showing its age.

Room Tip: West view is a definite plus and the higher the better.

After a long flight and a hectic taxi ride to the hotel I was looking forward to kicking back at the hotel. Check in was swift and efficient and we were promptly ascending to the 24th floor of the hotel.

I opened the room door and was surprised, I was not expecting a suite! There was a nice sized lounge area and open kitchen, this looked out over the city of Vancouver and when the sun set and the streets lit up it was an amazing view.

The bathroom was off the hallway and was good. Plenty of clean towels and shower gels etc...
The bedroom had 2 queen sized beds and another TV set. The beds were very comfortable and the suite was air conditioned.

All in all it was very good accomodation and I would definately stay again.

Room Tip: Get a high room so you can enjoy the city views

we arrived at the hotel shortly after 9am when the cruise ship we had been on had arrived in port.

Our room was ready and we were told as it was a special occasion we had been upgraded to the penthouse suit on the 30 th floor !!

Well what a fantastic room.A suit with a jaccuzzi bath, huge walk in shower that doubles as a steam room ! Huge and comfortable bed. A small kitchen area with kettle and coffeee machine. There were no plates or cutlery to eat with. But these were available from the dining room. There is a small balcony. The hotel is opposite a hospital so expect sirens through out the night.

The hotel is within easy reach of everywhere on foot. Granville island can be accessed via a ferry rather than the longer walk across the road bridge. and is again within walking distance.

There is no gym but a pool.

Another faultless hotel not quite as good as the Fairmont Waterfront but still offers a great stay.

Room Tip: i am sure that the other rooms are great, the Penthouse offers tremendous views and can be recommende...

We were book in for 2 nights as part of a package tour but because we dropped out of the package and wanted a 5 night stay we were upgraded. Our room was a suite. It consisted of a bedroom, roomy bathroom, large mirrored wardrobe in the hallway, a lounge with a bed sette and patio doors onto a balcony, a kitchenette and small dining set.
The whole hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly. Most day trips left from this hotel or the Sheraton across the road.
There was no WiFi in the rooms. The WiFi in the lobby was slow but in the small. Afe it was very fast. There is also a very good restaurant.
I just can't find a single negative about this hotel so well done to them.

Room Tip: It's right next door to a hospital with ambulances arriving/departing all the time so do ask fo...

This 3 star plus truly deserves a fourth star. The public rooms are bright and contemporary, with lots of glass and marble. Large lobby with four 42 inch screens showing various scenes within Vancouver and the surrounding areas. Large comfortable sofas for surfing with free wi-fi (you pay a nominal charge in the bedrooms), There is a super cafe for light breakfasts and lunches, again with a couple of computers. There is a spa, which looks enticing and swimming pool and sauna, but we did not have time to test.

On arrival, we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite on the 21st floor with wonderful views of the city. They then gave us a 20 dollar voucher to use for dinner in the restaurant. The wait for the excellent food (scallops, halibut and salmon) was worthwhile and this is the only criticism I have.
The reception staff could not have been more helpful and I checked in online and printed boarding papers, all free of charge. Free fruit on reception and newspapers.

Pre cruise, we had stayed at Renaissance on the water front, which was also excellent (separately reviewed) but for £93 a night this hotel really takes the biscuit!

Room Tip: we were fortunate enough to have been upgraded to the honeymoon suite, which I guess is one of their...

We've stayed in this hotel before and again we were fully satisfied. Last time we had the studio suite this time the 1 bedroom suite which was even better, more space and balcony.
The hotel may not be the most modern yet for being in the center of the city, having breakfast included and the kichenette also, it is great. The staff is very friendly and immediately fulfills your requests. You have a grand view from the windows, too.
Actually people who complain about this hotel must be very fussy or they just had bad luck during their stay. We would return there anytime.

We visited the century plaza for a couple of nights in early may during a road trip around bc. The hotel is clean, tidy and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. I had a meal at the hotel restaurant which was very nice and as a fussy eater I sometimes find it difficult to find something i like but had no problems here, the scallops were particularly good. We visited the comedy event they hold at the hotel which was well worth the money. The hotel is a short walk from the main shops and restaurants of vancouver. The only negative would be the rooms are a little dated however they are clean and fully equipt with all I could have wanted during my stay. I would stay here again if I where to travel back to vancouver.

Room Tip: This hotel is very tall so the higher the number the better the view of the Vancouver skyline!
