“A Must For Catholics, But Also Nice For Everyone”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

The cathedral's morning Mass was wonderful and welcoming. A must for Catholics visiting Vancouver. The windows and architecture are worth visiting by themselves aside from Mass. Pope John Paul II visited on his trip to Canada, so the site is extra special. Felt like home.

“Breathtaking”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

The stained glasses are stunning! It is definitely worth a stop. I was quite impressed also by all the details of the church, the ceiling, the doors, and it is a great location to unwind and say a little prayer.

“Small cathedral”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Nice architecture but for been a cathedral of an important city; it is to small. No parking space is available. The liturgy is interesting, but at some masses there are no hymnal books offered. The location is excellent, and the people there are pious and helpful. Clean church and nice priests.

“Diverse Community”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

The sanctuary contained statues, stained class windows typical of many older churches. The worshipping community was culturally diverse. I noted that confessionals had signs up noting which languages were spoken!

“God's amazing home in downtown Vancouver core.”
Reviewed December 22, 2011

The stained glass windows and architecture of the Holy Rosary Catheral is probably the best in Vancouver. It's too bad that some homeless (maybe some aren't even homeless but just begging for a living) can sometimes be agressive as you climb up the stairs to the entrance of the church. Be wary as a parishoner has been assaulted because they gave the guy begging $5 and the guy wanted more.
