The name says it all - Aquabus Ferry. It's colourful, fun, and very easy. At the foot of Hornby Street, easy walking from downtown hotels (down hill all the way!), it's a short shuttle to Granville Island. Being on the water even for the six or seven minutes is unique and interesting. No parking worries, no traffic issues, just hop on the boat and step off right in the middle of the market. A well spent C$11 for two round trip. The return is just as easy, but save some energy for the uphill walk back to the hotel. A longer "cruise" through several stops would have been interesting as you would get the waterside view.

Frequent pick ups and fast delivery from one side to the other. A great way to get back and forth to Granville Island.

The SeaBus is a clean and efficient transportation as it ferries passengers between main Vancouver and North Vancouver. As you enter into a SeaBus terminal, there is a clock indicating the time the next ferry will arrive, or the time left before the current ferry leaves. There is no snack bar onboard the ferries. All of the seating area is interior, as no passenger is allowed on the exterior deck. We used the SeaBus multiple times when we visited the city in June 2013. It's provide a great view of the city skyline. The cost of the ferry is included with the purchase of the daily fare pass where one can use it on the SkyTrain, City bus, as well as on the SeaBus! We can't think of anything we disliked about the SeaBus.
