Used this several times to get to Granville Island. Reasonably priced, courteous and helpful staff who at one point went out of their way to help a confused tourist. Great public transportation.

Getting around Vancouver is easy and Aquabus is part of the reason. Great schedule, fair price and friendly help.

... not aqualung... but still - the ride from granville was great. little boats with many seating places dancing on the water. pay attention if you enter and you are above 1.75m (I'm about 1.85m) - hitting the head is easy when the dingy floats on uneven waters.
we loved it and enjoyed the rides we had.

$5.75 per person for literally a two second ferry ride? Total rip off. Unless you are using it to go to the Casino or the Olympic village I wouldn't bother using it. The concierge at the hotel told us to take it I believe you can take the bus or even walk right over the bridge. Good for disabled people that's about it.

We cabbed over to Granville Island and took the Aquabus back to Yaletown.

$4.50 pp one way - a real deal. Takes about 15 minutes, great views of False Creek. I can imagine this would be much less pleasant with cold or precipitation.
