This is a nice quick efficient way of getting back and forth between beach area of Vancouver over to Granville Island. Inexpensive way to get a view fron the water for tourists and locals alike. The trips are very short and sweet, but time can be spent on Granville Island.

These little aquabuses are quite novel. They seat about 12 people and chug along slowly across to various parts of Vancouver. We only had one other family, so plenty of room. Very affordable and we would use them again. We went from Granville Island back to downtown. Nice little trip.

We took the Aquabus from downtown to Granville Island when staying in Yaletown on a weekend trip. It's a little pricey, $4.50 one-way, $9 round trip for such a short distance.

This little ferry service allows visitors and locals alike to avoid some of the traffic & parking ills of the downtown area and Granville Island by allowing traffic across the water.
We took it lately when visiting friends on the south side and having made dinner reservations downtown, near a ferry stop (just off the seawall)...it was a delightful way to travel downtown and back without the hassle of the bridges and parking.

I would highly reccomend hopping on and off the aquabus on false creek for easy access to and from Granville Island. The bus can be used as transportation to and from or as a fun tour of the Vancouver False Creek in the fascinating Burrard Inlet.
