Booked the penthouse here for a family party, hotel staff was aware of the party, giving us extra chairs and 7 keys to access the room. We received a noise complaint and were told if we didnt leave they would call the police, as our gathering was "illegal in BC" on the first encounter. While perhaps the noise complaint was warranted, we were a large group, how it was handled was atrocious. If the party was not legal we shouldn't have been given the room as the staff was well aware there would be a group of more than 8. We were recommended this penthouse by the staff at another Sandman we were staying at because we had 8 rooms and wanted a place where we could all get together for a Christmas event, as we are from out if province. The customer service was laughable and I will not be booking with Sandman anytime in the future.

Great spot on David near tons of food and shops, close to bus routes on burrard and Granville. Nice large room (full suite with bedroom and kitchen) especially for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful, accommodated my early check in and late check out requests

First time staying with Sandman and will be coming back .

Very central location; 24 hour pharmacy in front and a couple of blocks away to water taxi to Granville market to buy delicious food and wine .

Moxies downstairs is a plus for a late night bite and beer.
