I had been recommended Greystone B&B by friends and to say it lived up to my expectations is an understatment. Graham & Lee make you feel like you are a part of the family from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you depart.

They had plenty of suggestions for places to visit and local restaurants. My favorite part of the experience was the "Happy Hour" where you could sit in their beautiful living room and chat with Graham, Lee and fellow guests over a glass of wine.

Next time I visit Vancouver there will be no hesitation as to where I will stay and I strongly recommend any B&B fans to stay at Greystone.

One happy customer!

My wife and I had a wonderful visit to Vancouver. We decided to stay at Greystone BB because of a referral from a friend who has stayed there multiple times. We were there for 4 nights as a part of a ski vacation.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning (1am), but even then the owner, Graham, welcomed us and made us feel right at home. We got settled into our cozy and comfortable room immediately.

In the morning, Graham served us a delicious breakfast. Most BnB's we stay at do not provide a hot meal, but Greystone has a different hot breakfast every morning with a selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and freshly baked muffins... delicious!!!

The BnB even provides 'appy hour in the evenings. This was a great time to meet other guests, Graham and Leigh (his wife) and have a glass of wine and some snacks. What a great way to start the evening!

Throughout our stay, Graham and Leigh were there to help us with each and every one of our needs. They gave us great advice on restaurants, places to see and tips about Vancouver.

We had a great stay and have already recommended to people travelling to Vancouver. I guess we owe our friends a bottle of wine!

My husband and I have stayed at the Greystone B & B on our trips to Vancouver for the past 9 years. It is convenienetly located in a most pleasant part of Vancouver., on a quiet street with available parking. We have stayed, at various times, in both of the bedrooms and the downstairs suite. - all very comfy and pleasant, each with its own charm.
Graham and Lee are excellent hosts - Grahams breakfasts are superbly prepared and served, and he will go that extra mile to make sure everything is right for you.
We particularly enjoy the variety of fresh fruit always available and his delicious homemade baking.
Due to their popularity a large number of guests come back again and again,. Many
are from other provinces and countries,
The garden is lovely, with trees and flowers all very beautifully looked after by Lee. The Happy Hour is a treat , outside in the garden when weather permits, otherwise in the lovely living room.
I really can't say enough about this B & B - it is delightful, and I can't think of any place we would rather stay while in Vancouver. I think it should be rated in the top 5, at least.

We spent 3 nights in the garden suite which comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 singles. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting area and a small kitchen and a bathroom. This suite would really only be suitable for a family party or friends who got on really well as it is quite compact. The accomodation was perfect for us however and the house was located in a lovely safe part of Vancouver. It was a very easy walk or drive to the beach or to the down town area and to Granville Island.

The best thing about the place however was undoubtedly Graham who as well as being a great cook ( his breakfasts were a source of great delight each morning!) was the perfect host. He was full of interesting suggestions and information about his adopted home ( he has been there for 50 years) and we really enjoyed taking a glass of wine with him in the garden at 6 pm.

We would thoroughly recommend Greystone to anyone who likes to get away from the crporate hotel scene and get a little local colour.

Very nice B&B well located (10mn bus from the center, bus stop just a few steps away, free street parking) in a beautiful residential street, very safe and quiet. Great hosts, with a good sense of English humour and excellent breakfasts, main course different everyday and with happy faces made out of fruit (that was to cheer us up for the football world cup final! Graham being himself a soccer fan).
We also enjoyed the glass of wine graciously offered around 5pm and the chat with the hostess who is the only B&B owner we found in our trip who was actually from the location, Vancouver in this case!
A good place to stay if you do not want the hustle bustle from the downtown area.
