My husband and I, along with our daughter and her fiancee stayed in the Rose Garden Suite which was very comfortable (slept soundly!), well-equipped, spacious and charming. As others have mentioned, Graham and Lee welcomed us warmly so we immediately felt right at home. Our visit was in Nov. during a cold snap with some snow on the ground, so the delightful Happy Hour by the fireplace with wine and snacks was particularly cozy and warm! Graham's delicious hot breakfasts (including very good coffee and juices, fresh-baked muffins, eggs benedict one day and French toast the next, a large variety of fresh fruit---including a fruit smiley face on our lovely china plate!) were a real treat! Graham has a wonderful sense of humor, and it is obvious that he enjoys meeting people and operating a B & B. We were very pleased with the restaurants he recommended (Indian, and also Asian fusion) both within walking distance of the B & B, with good value and quality. As far as sightseeing, there is much to see and do but we enjoyed the UBC Museum of Anthropology during this visit, which was only a 10-15 min. drive from the B & B.
We hope to return again sometime to the lovely Vancouver area, and I bet you can guess who we will definitely stay with :) !!More
