Hotel good location, spacious rooms but do not hesitate to request an upper floor, else the view will be limited to the opposite building. The only negative point is related to the breakfast hours ( 9:00 deadline!). Not only that requires you to be morning but you end up with all the vacationers from the hotel (25 floors) in a small room at the same time.

Thanks for the review - I love the word "Perfect"! :)

In keeping with all Residence Inn's worldwide, breakfast is served daily from 630am 9am on weekdays and 7am to 930am on weekends. We recommend coming earlier if you are looking to have a leisurely breakfast. We have also provided additional seating in the lobby and Cavino, as well as an "express" breakfast seating area for people who will be dining in 20 minutes or less.

For those guests that prefer to have Brunch, our Front Desk are "local area" experts, and would be delighted to provide recommendations.

Studio was great - large, clean, well equipped, nice furniture, bed very confo
Studio was clear - Super larges windows (could be a little cleaner), nice view
Location - super nice, near everything.
Breakfast - free, substantial, hot with fresh bread, eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, make your own waffle and more ...

Thank you Melanie for your understanding - thank you for the night manager who understanding that a scooter is little bit smaller than a car. Thank you for the roomate for her smile every morning and even if I wake up very late. Thank you for the attendants in the dining room who watched everything and make sure that everyone was happy and always with a smile.

First time to Vancouver and I feel we picked a great hotel. I felt the location was great and allowed us to walk many places downtown with ease. Also, the ferries to Granville Island were easily walkable. As a bonus, this is one of the stops for the hop-on, hop-off trolley tour (Tip-ask the front desk for a $1 off coupon). The free breakfast was wonderful and I looked forward to it everyday. The rooms were very nice and well appointed with comfortable beds. There is a coffee shop (day) and wine bar (night) in the lobby which was very convenient. Overall, I was very happy with this property and would recommend to other travelers.

Never having been in Vancouver or knowing anyone who had been there, made it a little difficult to find a reliable place to stay. I used Trip Advisor. I am glad I did. The hotel had just been rentivated a year ago. The rooms clean and had lovely kitchenettes. Breakfast in the morning was deliciuosly hearty. There were free snacks and sodas, juice in the afternoon. The staff always friendly and very informative. If they did not know the answer they found someone who did. They have easy self check out and the front desk was never crowded. Great place to stay!

Great beds, Wi-fi always worked, and nice kitchen. Fairly quiet area of downtown Vancouver, easy to walk to most places. Complimentary breakfast was better than most hotels we have been to lately, a little busy though. Lots to chose from.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony for summer travel; it was amazing to sit outside in downtown Vancouver, sunny and...

The studio unit in which we stayed was comfortable, spacious, clean, nicely designed & decorated; nice kitchenette with quality appliances (including dishwasher) – we didn’t use kitchen during this stay, but it was appealing to the eyes; better than average Residence Inn mugs and glasses. Breakfast selection was a bit better then in few other Residence Inns we stayed recently.
The hotel is centrally located, with walking distance to many sites and restaurants.

Con: The only inconvenience I am willing to overlook - they have slow elevators; one was out of order the day we stayed. You could spend 10 minutes waiting for an elevator around breakfast time. Hope they fixed the problem by now.

Would love to stay here again if the price is right.

You've made our Food & Beverage Director VERY happy with your comments! We specifically went above requirement with the quality all items and appliances in the in-suite kitchens, as well as with the quality and selection of our Breakfast Buffet! Thank you for noticiing!

With regard to the elevators - (sigh) - I know and I'm sorry. We are working with the elevator company to increase their efficiency and speed in order to reduce the wait times.

My friend and I stayed at the Residence Inn for a total of 9 nights across 2 visits in July 2013. Both times were absolutely fantastic visits. The staff were all courteous, friendly and super helpful.
Both the rooms we stayed in were spacious, well-furnished and extremely clean. The beds were some of the most comfortable in a hotel I’ve ever slept on. The location was convenient to all Downtown Vancouver sites.
There was an extensive selection at breakfast. My only complaints about the whole hotel would be the elevators can get very congested around breakfast/check out time and occasionally there aren’t enough tables at breakfast in peak hour. Compared to how fantastic the rest of the hotel is these are very minor issues. I would happily stay here again without hesitation.

I love that we were your "home away from home" - TWICE! That is our raison d'etre! Thanks for commenting on the beds - I couldnt agree more. In fact, our bed is trademarked! We have ordered additional tables and chair to provide more seating during peak times at breakfast, and are working with the elevator company to increase their efficiency to reduce the wait times. Next time you stay, I expect you'll see a difference!
